Specialties
Dr. Rajala’s practice is one of the first-established Ob/Gyn practices in Collin County. Services include annual health and wellness exams, menopause management, family planning, fertility treatment, and more. One of the things Dr. Rajala loves doing most is caring for pregnant patients and bringing babies into the world. He estimates he has delivered well over 20,000 babies.
«I can’t imagine not being able to deliver babies. I am blessed to have the most rewarding job anyone could hope for. We develop relationships with our patients that last a lifetime. We get to be with many of our patients when their children are born, hear stories about their kids’

accomplishments, and help them stay healthy over the years,» Dr. Rajala commented.“We’re now seeing generations of obstetric patients– the babies I delivered early in my practice are now having children of their own, and it’s flattering that many of them choose me as their Ob/Gyn. Recently, I had the joy of delivering the child of two people that I had delivered many years ago. Does that make me a ‘grand-doctor’?”
History
Established in 1987.
Dr. Rajala opened his practice in 1987 in Collin County, and has been servicing the North Dallas area ever since. With a military back ground, Dr. Rajala has always been in the business of providing care where and when needed. He has a passion for being lucky enough to work with patients throughout their pregnancy, and be there with them to bring new life into the world. His experience in the military also gives him the advantage of being prepared for the worst, and also being able to identify issues promptly and address accordingly.
Meet the Manager
Puc W.
Manager
Practice Manager, Puc Westrupp, was born and raised in New Zealand and completed his schooling in Australia. With a back ground in Entertainment Business, he relocated to America to continue to work in the entertainment industry. After 10yrs in the industry he married and settled in Dallas, TX. With all the changes to Health Care over the past handful of years, we brought Puc on to assist with the business side of the practice with the goal to increase productivity, minimize overhead costs, convert the practice from paper charting to electronic charting, with the purpose of working smarter, not harder and resulting in Dr. Rajala, Nurse’s, and Medical Assistants being able to spend more time providing care to our patients.
He’s a welcomed addition to the WMA family, and we believe we’ll be able to stay ahead of the curve with all the changes in medicine, which will allow us to continue to focus on patient care, rather than the constant changes in healthcare.
