Riverside Residence

I have lived here for about 1 year and I cannot move out soon enough. The management here is a joke. I have had several issues with my neighbors violating the lease agreements with no action taken after numerous complaints. One neighbor plays the guitar and sings daily, also in between his jam sessions he plays ball with his dog in the apartment. I will hear running and jumping around for extended periods of time. My down stairs neighbor has two dogs that are left home alone and barking for hours on end. I have had to call the police in the early Am hours multiple times with the owner being cited on a couple occasions. The owner is also to lazy to take the animals out to pee and poop so they are allowed to do their business on the balcony which will sit and cook in the sun for days. This makes it impossible to open my window and allow fresh air in to my unit. The same neighbor also smokes inside of the unit filling my apartment with the smell of smoke. Smoking in the building is against the lease agreement but still nothing has been done after numerous complaints to Vera the manager. There are paid assigned parking spots that are constantly taken up by visitors so the space that I pay for is frequently taken. There is a sign posted warning that parking violators will be towed. However only management can contact the tow company to have a vehicle removed. This does literally no good because management doesn’t answer calls after a certain time. So feel free to leave a message, it will not be listened to until the next day or end of the weekend. Obviously by then its too late. While the building and the units are nice the walls are thin and the lack of management involvement and response lease violations is pathetic. I would strongly recommend looking else where for your next home.
