History

Established in 2003.

Old Mill Kitchen Design in McHenry, IL was opened in 2003 by Designers Larry Holland and Patricia Kelly. Between them is a total of 48 years design experience. They are joined by a team of skilled designers, installers and craftsmen. They offer complete design, installation & coordination for your new construction or remodel; caring for your project from start to finish. Old Mill Kitchen Design acquired it’s name from the Historic Building the showroom belongs in. Built before the Civil War, the building served as a local flour mill over 100 years ago. Still standing strong are its original beams, brick & structure. With 22″ thick exterior brick walls, old mill’s motto «quality that stands the test of time» can be proven by the building alone.

Business Owner

Patricia J. Kelly opened Old Mill Kitchen Design in 2003 with Husband, and business partner, Larry Holland. Together, they have a combined design experience of over 48 years and skilled employees to give clients a design of their dreams. Old Mill’s work was recently featured in the national Kasmar Publication, «Designer Kitchens, Baths & other Rooms «, which shows highlights of the Wood-​Mode & Brookhaven cabinetry they designed for an entire mansion in Riverwoods, IL for Distinctive Custom Homes of Highland Park, IL. Traditional style cabinet design is the backdrop in a fantastic Mediterranean style home including a fountain in the expansive entrance-​way.
