Doc’s on Main Steakhouse & Saloon

Went to the Saloon this past Friday to listen to Spur City Rounders’. Music was great. Ordered a hamburger and onion rings. Best onion rings that I have had in a long time. Homemade and cooked perfect. The burger was great too. Price was right on the food and drinks. I will be back. I plan to eat in the restaurant and try the steak next time.

Visited here for the first time on Saturday night. The food is very good. I had a New York strip steak that was a perfect medium rare. Service was a bit spotty as it took awhile to get a glass of wine. The main course arrived before appetizer, salad, and beverage. Can I venture a guess that the waitstaff is family and is having a bit of trouble keeping up with the cooks? They might need to hire actual waiters. I don’t mean this in a meanspirited way. They may be trying to save money. The food is good so I still recommend you give them a try. I’ll visit again in a few weeks and update this if it’s changed.
