CTW Abbey Carpet & Floor opened its doors in 2000 with a dream and a leap of faith. One customer at a time, Joe Burkeland grew CTW by concentrating on providing high quality service and in-​depth product knowledge for our customers. We continue to grow and thrive on those same basic principles, as CTW Abbey Carpet & Floor guides customers through all aspects of the flooring process — from product knowledge and design to installation and care, our customers have one salesperson overlooking their project from start to finish.

CTW is proud to have one of the largest up-​to-​date flooring showrooms in Wisconsin. Carpet. Wood. Luxury Vinyl Tile. Ceramic Tile. Porcelain Tile. Glass Tile… We have it all! We carry products from many popular, well-​known manufacturers such as Armstrong, Shaw, and Mohawk, while also carrying products from more unique, specialty manufacturers like Godfrey Hirst (Wool Carpet), Mannington (Vinyl, LVT, Wood) or Lauzon (Luxury Wood Floors).

I come from a long line of flooring professionals. From a young age, I was immersed in all aspects of this business, and because of that life-​long education, I am very knowledgeable regarding all the components that must come together to successfully complete each job. This enables me to foresee and resolve any potential issues in design, installation, and product selection before they become a problem. I enjoy all aspects of project management, from meeting with clients to learning about their objectives down to the exacting details that keep a job going smoothly and on budget. I am committed to unparalleled customer service and industry expertise for myself and my staff. My professional titles include Certified Floor Covering Installer (CFI) and Certified Floor Covering Executive (CFE). My staff and I attend routine training on products, installation, and maintenance to stay current with the latest trends and technology.
