History

Established in 1996.

Serving Georgia with residential and light commercial construction services at competitive prices. J. R. Jones Construction, Inc. started as a residential builder in Henry county providing custom alternatives to the typical «box» built homes that were everywhere. As we grew more and more requests came in for additions or modifications to existing homes and businesses for upgrades, additions or accessibility solutions. We are now an approved contractor for the Veteran Affairs Special Adaptive Housing, Member of National Association of Home Builders, Greater Atlanta Home Builder Association.

Married with two beautiful daughters.

Originally from Charlotte, NC. I attended UNC-​Charlotte majoring in Business following fulfilling enlistment in the USAF. I moved to Atlanta area in 1990 accepting employment with Delta Air Lines, Inc as an aircraft mechanic. Promoted into the quality control department inside of Delta and having started investing in rental property throughout Georgia I began building homes in 1996. After ten years of building as a side-​line business my family supported leaving the security of Delta to pursue my goal of improving the quality of construction services in Georgia. Now, after the economic adjustment we have all experienced, J. R. Jones Construction, Inc. Is still growing and profitable.
