KC’s Critter Care was founded when I began to dread going away on vacation each summer, knowing I’d have to leave my animals behind. I hope to alleviate any worry and allow people to enjoy their vacations knowing their pet (s) are in great care and stress-​free at their own home.

I also walk/​hike with my dogs daily. With the busy schedules many people are unable to provide their dogs with the exercise they need, so I hope to help with that as well.

My name is Katelyn Cerciello and I am currently a student at Washington & Jefferson College, studying biology and environmental studies, on the Pre-​Vet track. I’m a commuter so I don’t live on campus, but at home, right outside of McDonald, PA. I have been fascinated by animals my whole entire life and have never known what it’s like to live without them. One of my main hobbies is raising animals of all kinds. I currently have 4 dogs (English Springer Spaniel, Black and Tan Coonhound, Lab, and a Peekapoo), an Appaloosa horse, 55 chickens (and chicks), 25 Coturnix Quail, 2 Flemish Giant rabbits, 6 Lionhead Rabbits, 2 Chinchillas, 2 Diamond Doves, a Robo Dwarf hamster, and a frog. My animals are and always have been my number one priority in life (which is why I don’t live on campus). Over the years I’ve owned many other species of animals, so I’m very well-​educated and knowledgeable about just about any pet.
