We drove from Marietta to eat there for the first time. Pleasant drive up route 60. The inside was all decked out in wood from the floors up. Pictures of celebrities lined the walls. We sat down with Don Knotts, Elvis Presley, Albert Einstein and the Duke, John Wayne. Our server, Alisha, was just like family to us, or at least a good friend, and was very helpful and friendly. In fact, all the servers were that way. The food was really good too. My only disappointment would be the portions on the BBQ combo could be just a bit larger. But, everything was delicious and well seasoned. They made chocolate chip cookies for our kids for dessert. I will definitely come back and will recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to or through McConnellsville.

Went here with large family gathering to celebrate our Mom. Service was really, really very good. Nice, nostalgic atmosphere of by-gone times. Now for the food. Baby back ribs were described as «awesome, fall off the bone tender, succulent», by everyone around the table. Pulled pork was great, very, very good! Spinach and crab dip was very, very good! Baked sweet potatoes and sweet potato fried were delicious. Root beer floats to toast our mom ended a wonderful meal together.

Good: friendly table staff, clean eating area. Bad: Pulled Pork and Baby Back Ribs were barely edible. Green Beans straight from a can.
