After being a customer for over 20 years(my parents have gone there for twice that long), I called today to ask for an emergency appointment for my 18 year old daughter. She is a senior in HS, going into her final exams. Her prescription has expired and she needs her contacts refilled.(I realize that she should have planned ahead, but this is the first time that she has ever run out of contacts. She is always prepared, after all, she is blind without them!) The first appt. that I could get was 6 weeks from today. She graduates on 6/1, so her appt. would be until 2 weeks after graduation!!! I was told, «so sorry, too bad». As a business owner, I know that there are certain times that my customers really need my help and I will always go the extra distance to try to accommodate. They would not even take my name in case of a cancellation. Business must be really good, so I am sure that they will not miss my family’s patronage.
