This place is excellent. Everything is fresh, authentic, relatively healthy, and affordable(and cute ambiance to boot!). Not only are the tortas tasty(you’re welcome for the alliteration there), but also the salad and soup are delicious(never too«processed»). They have an amazing salad with fresh greens and a homemade creamy cilantro dressing.

My sister and brother-in-law suggested tortas for lunch and it sounded like a good option. Now in the RGV there are many choices for Mexican food. So to find a really good torta and then to recommend it to the family is a big step. The menu wasn’t big and it seemed that most items were the same thing with one thing added or taken away. So I wasn’t really sure what to order. My sister got the«Pierna Torta» so I played along. I’ll be honest this was an unfinished post, but I do remember that I wasn’t impressed.
