Elevate Architecture LLC is arguably one of the only architecture offices in South Texas that specializes in modern and contemporary architecture for private residences and commercial projects. There are many «designers» and a modest number of architects to choose from in the area, but few have the qualifications and experiences that we have to implement high-​design strategies and concepts typically found in Europe, Southern California, and elsewhere abroad.

We always put our clients first and can provide an immersive design experience where clients can interact with 3D visualizations to make sure they get exactly what they want before the project is even built. We offer competitive rates for design, architectural services, and architectural support services, but our quality of work and customer care is second to none.

History

Established in 2012.

Christopher had been in the architecture field for over 9 years before launching his practice in McAllen, Texas some 30 plus miles from his home town in Harlingen. After doing architecture in some of the worlds most competitive markets while under the mentor-​ship of world class designers, he has now synthesized that knowledge with his strong grasp of social responsibility and political economy into his own practice.

His main goal is to express beautiful design to a world that has largely forgotten the role of carefully and beautifully crafted space in our everyday. Since spatial context has grown vastly more complex, he is able to challenge the status quo of design in everything from a strip mall to a suburban home inventing new spatial paradigms that are relevant to today’s modern world.

Meet the Business Owner

Christopher G.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Harlingen, Texas. Christopher studied architecture at the University of Texas in Austin. He worked at GTF Design, an award winning multi-​family architecture firm in North Texas where he captained a large portfolio of resort development projects. Christopher then moved to Los Angeles, and acquired some private clients working on single family homes before joining the offices of Shubin & Donaldson where he learned high-​end residential, and commercial interior architecture. He then joined 5+Design re-​focusing his craft on large urban design projects in China, and Europe. He finished his 8 year tour of Los Angeles, at the Architecture Studio where he revisited high end residential work and detailing. Christopher now resides in McAllen, Texas as owner of Elevate Archtiecture LLC. He is also a partner in 3^rd Space Group, a developer team where he manages the design arm of the business.
