In defense of this place, the soup and salad bar is not bad. Take that away, and the deli lacks punch. I normally get soup on Friday and instead, I should’ve just starved because I opted for something from the deli. A bacon cheeseburger with fries… when I asked for the burger to be rare, the guy asks…“how about medium rare?”.I compromised. It took a little while so I figured it was fresh. When it was packed I took it to my office and I was very disappointed. Burger was well done. Fries were not cooked enough. Bacon had no flavor… it was probably pre-cooked, but old. Again, the soups aren’t bad along with the salad, but the deli sucks.

Been here a few times & while the variety is great, food is always hot & the salad bar is fantastic, some of the food has been high in salt. However, overall, it’s a great place for a quick lunch.

As John C mentioned in his review, this place benefits from the fact that there aren’t many walkable alternatives and most of the better options requires giving up your coveted parking spot procured early that morning in the office garage. I should probably thank my stars for that fact and thank Sizzling Express for having such lackluster offerings as it has helped me to stay on budget and continue to pack my lunch(and snacks for the matter). The salad bar is absymal, the soup offerings are runny and bland, the hot food items available during lunch will make all of your taste buds sad. They also offer some packaged goods, you know the typical deli fare — chips, candy bars, protein bars, juices, protein drinks, teas. If you’re stuck without a lunch and don’t want to venture too far I’d suggest huffing it over to The Perfect Pita which is a relatively short(like 10 min) walk from here.

I used to work in this building complex. I really think the only reason this place is in business is because the building is somewhat isolated without having to walk a decent amount or drive so they naturally get a lot of people who work here. Otherwise no one would get go out of there way to come here. The salad bar in my opinion is disgusting, btw. The quality is cheap and bad for most of the things I used to get here for lunch or breakfast. You would think that must mean it’s cheap in prices… To the contrary it’s WAY overpriced for almost anything on the menu. I remember I eventually stopped going here when in the office and instead got in the car, drove to the nearby Subway, Panera, or another place where I can spend roughly the same amount for better food.

Typical office building offerings… Deli with fresh made-to-order items for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast includes yogurt, fruit, and any combo of egg-type choices. Lunch is a full, well-stocked salad bar, soup, 2 or 3 hot Asian dishes, rice, noodles, and any type of sandwich or grill item you could want. As typical with these types of place, the salad bar choices are cut THIS big to cause your pay by the pound bill to be THAT much bigger(really, who needs 1 inch wide cucumber slices???). It’ll do in a pinch, but certainly isn’t in my top 5 of lunch choices. $ 5 credit card minimum, which is hard at breakfast, while at lunch, you’re lucky if you’re out of there for less than $ 10.
