Today(April 7th, 2016) was my second time ever coming to eat here. First time was last year when a dear friend invited me here for tacos. Anywho, I’ll start off by saying that they have a pretty wide selection of well known mexican foods and plenty of beverages. From horchata to jamaica, coffee, the usual sodas, and beer! Beer is pretty cheap, they all cost 3.25 if I remember correctly, so not bad considering it’s a restaurant. As for the food, they got everything from the obvious tacos to burritos, mulitas, seafood, cocktails, burgers, asada plates and so on and so forth haha. I went with my boyfriend and it took us over 15 minutes to make our decision due to the wide variety. Heads up, you order at the counter! No table service so you guys know! So yeah, I went with four tacos, two of buche, one carnitas and one chicken. They were out of pastor so that’s why I went with the buche instead. Ordered an extra large horchata(44oz.) and that size costs 3 bucks. Tacos are 1.50 a piece I believe so they are pretty damn cheap. We also ordered their«carne fries» which are only 5 bucks and big enough to feed from 3 – 5 people depending how much each person eats, but nonetheless they are super hooked up! They include fries(duh!), your choice of meat(we chose carnitas), guacamole, crema, cheese, cilantro(which I can’t stand but luckily couldn’t taste), and fresh pico de gallo. And my boyfriend ordered 4 tacos too and a soda. For all that our total was 21 something so it is definitely super affordable! The downside is the wait :/quite a lot of people go to eat there so they for sure get busy. Our order took about 25 minutes to come out but boy was it worth it! Tacos were hooked up with the meat, and were hot, tortillas were soft and they were simply delicious! Tacos come with cilantro and onion but I just got onion on mines. The restaurant has a salsa bar that offers like 5 or 6 kinds of salsa, lemons, fresh chile serrano, that other chile that comes in the vinegar with carrots, jalapeños and that’s about it. Their horchata taste perfect for me, very cinnamony but in a good way! My bf thought it was too sweet but that’s his opinion. The carne fries were BOMB!!! Fries were thin cut but crispy, hot and yummy! They once again hooked it up with the carnitas they had; big, chunky pieces. Crema is the thick kind, not the more watery, loose one. Everything we got was so damn tasty though! I really, really enjoyed it! I got stuffed before we could even finish the fries so you definitely get your fill pretty quick. Everything for me was great except the wait time so that’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars. Oh and one more thing! Refills are 1.25 each so that totally sucks! It’s honestly one of the most expensive refills I’ve seen, so that for sure is lame. Aside from that I don’t think I have any other complaints. The place is a decent size, not too big or small. Hours are from 9am-8:30pm so boo to that because that’s pretty early. They got a restroom for customers too so that’s good. I would definitely recommend you guys give this place a try! Good food, great prices, and good portions too! See for yourself! :)

Tortas de chorizo are the best. They run out of chorizo pretty fast. The prices are great and portions too. The green sauce is the best, also the free sides too. Phone orders are welcome. They even sell beer too.

Absolutely incredible, these«boys» get it right! The Mojarra frita is the hot item during Cuaresma. I recommend the enchiladas of chicken topped with cabbage and Mexican cueso fresco. Well priced. dinner for two under $ 20. Try it you will trully enjoy!

The tacos here are really good they have a salsa bar so that makes it better. I always get the 3 big tacos with an horchata for 6.50 I believe.

Needed some tacos for a picnic down the street at Maywood Park. This was the closest place I could find, so I headed in. Nothing special as I walk in. Soccer game on the TV. Some Banda playing from the jukebox. Place was clean. Dude at the counter was friendly. Ordered 12 tacos, a ricebeanandcheese burrito, a bottle of coke, a can of Sprite, and a bottled water. To Go. First of all, they do have tripas. They are good, cooked right, but nothing special. Lacking flavor. They went well with the guacatillo and the red salsa casera they offer. The Carnitas were quite good, the greasiness factor won me over. One of their better tacos. Great with Salsa Verde. The Carne Asada was ok. Not much flavor, and minced up a bit much for my taste. Good with the red salsa casera. I also ordered chicken tacos, and apparently they were very good, because my Wife had inhaled all three of them before I even noticed. She said they were bomb as hell. She knows chicken tacos(she makes the BEST!) so Im taking her word for it. Bean Rice n Cheese Burrito we got for the kids went half uneaten, so I tried it. Delicious! TONS of cheese, and I think it was Monterey Jack cheese, which was different. Beans were good too. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed several older couples eating Pescados in there, and several more people coming in to order the same. So I will be trying that if I happen to stop here again. The hot carrots were more like garlic carrots, but I liked them anyways. I like the way they packaged the tacos, both keeping them warm AND intact. Thanks guys. Bathrooms were whatever. Didnt expect much to start off with. Worth a try.

I hate the fact that they charge you for using your debit card, why do I have to pay for buying from you?

I’ve been to this spot several times and it never disappoints! I’ve ordered their tacos and asada burritos and the meat is always delicious. Their prices are also very reasonable. I LOVE their salsas, they have so many to choose from and they also have many condiments at the salsa bar to add to your food. I would choose this place over king taco any day.

I hadn’t been here in a couple of years since I live an hour away. Finally was in the area and couldn’t wait to eat tacos here, but I was disappointed. It was good, but not as great as before. I used to eat at this place for breakfast and dinner on the same day, it was that good. I had a couple tacos(different meats) and they were good so not a waste of my money, but I probably won’t be coming back since I can get average tacos anywhere. They still have one of the best salsa bars.

Good food, but complete crappy service. I’ve ordered To-Go twice in the last week, and the first time I ordered there and waited 40 minutes when I was told to wait 20. Decided I’d try them again, considering the food is pretty good, excel this time, I decided to ordered To-Go by phone. Was told 20 minutes again. When I got there(20 minutes later), he didn’t know where my order was until finally telling me it still wasn’t ready. Didn’t apologize, just said to wait another 15 minutes, and started charging me. I was like, «Wait, is it ready or not?» He said, «well you ordered it, right?» I replied, «Yes, and you said it would be 20 minutes. This is why I called in advance. So no, I’m not paying for it. Just can cancel the order.» Still no apology, or explanation, or ensuring me he would expedite it… Just looked at me like he felt stupid. Customer service skill level: noob. This is totally considering I’ve decided to look past the awful lighting and very ugly establishment. There’s mirrors everywhere, like it’s a salon. Oh, and the music is horrible. It goes from rap to corridos like it’s a quinceanera. Two stars ONLY because of the food.
