Ogden Auto Glass

After a friend of mine had his new Lexus ES done there along with other vehicles he has owned. When I saw how quick and professional they did on his car, I knew when I got a new car they would my place to go to.
I highly recommend them and will be bringing my Cobra to them when I take it out of storage.

This location is now closed. The location I went to is in Bellwood, a western suburb, at 2755 w. washington. It’s not far off the Eisenhower.
After I had been driving around for over a year with a crack the width of my windshield, my regular mechanic suggested I get my windshield fixed at Ogden. When I called and learned that their city location was closed, I was ready to hang up. But the person on the phone convinced me that it could work out: that Bellwood wasn’t too far; that they were open in the evening and early on Saturday; that they could come and replace the windshield on my own block if I wanted. He also came down a little on the quoted price and promised to order the windshield so they’d have it in stock — without taking my CC number or any such thing. I was convinced; this salesperson had done a good job and won my business by phone — no small feat. He told me to ask for Frankie.
When I showed up and asked for Frankie, the man at the window gave me a bemused smile and said he wasn’t there; but I could just bring my car back — they had the windshield in stock and were expecting me.
I sat in the waiting room reading what’s left of the Chicago Tribune anymore and a minivan pulled into the garage, even with the door to the waiting room. The back seat opened and a small girl got out, followed by what looked like her older brother, maybe 14 years old, if that.
The girl ran off. The boy looked at me and asked, «Are you the one with the Corolla? I’ll get your invoice ready.» This was Frankie — the brilliant salesperson who kept me from taking my car some place in the city.
In addition to the wunderkind salesman, Ogden did a good job on the installation and even armor-​all-​ed my dashboard (something I hadn’t done in months). The price was very competitive. And clearly there is someone there with a bright future in business.
