I picked up filled churros for my friends birthday they were all devoured throughout the night!!!
the service here is amazing! it took a little time but I didn’t mind the wait as other customers were super friendly and It was cool people watching

I been coming here for a couple of years and every time I ordered a cake Im never dissapointed! They let me text them the picture of what I want. They don’t require for a deposit, They are awesome. There prices are very reasonable! The churros are delicious!

My favorite spot for delicious churros ! $ 1.75 for a churro filled with cajeta and $ 0.50 for an regular churro. Great deal of you get more than a dozen.

Where can you find freshly prepared churros for $.50 ea? I happened to be in the area and bought a few dozen for my office. Even after having driven 30 minutes to get, the churros were still warm and delicious. It took a little over 10 minutes for 60 churros to be freshly prepared. Definitely a must visit for anyone looking for churros. They also have cakes and pastries.

The churros are awesome here, great price to buy in bulk! I’m always getting some in the morning, freshly done!

Been coming to this bakery for a while now but finally writing a review. It’s right off Atlantic west a few blocks
It’s in a tiny strip mall with a liquor store. The first thing you will notice is the dumpster in the front of the parking lot.
You’ll see a horde of pigeons and birds eating church leftovers!!! Lol
You know you’ve come to the right place. The bakery has a few bread bins and cakes on display
Go up to the counter and they have a sheet with the pricing. I’ve had the filled churros but they were just okay
Stay with the regular one. 50 cents a pop. You can’t beat that. Made to order. Hot and crispy on the outside. Soft on the inside. Perfectly sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar
I’m getting hungry just thinking about them again after we just polished off 10 of them this weekend!

These Churros are the best in town. They are big unlike most others and they are served warm … a must try if your looking for great Churros.

Best churros !! they make them from scratch in one of their locations so they are always fresh. They have very decent low prices for a good quantity of churros. I had the champurrado and it was very good as well.

Love love love the churros drive all the way from la mirada to Maywood… yes they are that good …

What a shame. Lucero makes amazing cakes, but the service here is absolutely horrible.
I came to pick up a cake for my dad as it’s Father’s Day weekend. I asked the counter girl to write «Feliz Dia de Los Padres» and she writes «Happy Fathers Day». I asked her why it wasn’t in Spanish and she said, «Oh… You wanted it in Spanish?»
Such poor customer service skills!

Let me just put it out there. This place would get 5 stars if they changed one thing… THE SERVICE! The lady was so rude on the phone and in person. WHATEVER though. I ordered 30 minutes ahead 2 dozen churros to take to the office. When I got there they had my order ready. I saw that they had stuffed churros so of course I had to add one on! I had the one with cajeta in it. As soon as I bit into it I understood why everyone kept saying that these were the best churros they had ever tried. They really were just amazing. They were nice and warm. They were also thicker than the usual churros. The price is also good! I paid $ 13 for 25 churros! Okay once I got to the office and everyone started trying them, all you heard in the office was churros, churros, churros. Co-​workers kept asking me where they were from. They were a huge hit! Now I know what to bring for every party at work!

My restaurant has used Lucero’s bakery for our anniversary celebrations. They have always done a great job with our requests. At our most recent 34 year celebration we requested several different flavors. They nailed it! Everyone enjoyed the cakes and their suggested sizes for our celebration was spot on. We had enough for everyone with little left over.
What makes this place great is their commitment to not only making your cake delicious, but also making it look right for the occasion (See pictures). Everyone took pictures of the cakes before we cut them.
Btw, they also have great churros with caramel filling! The location is inside a small complex and can be easily missed.
Our restaurant is proud to have another local business available for our celebration needs.

I love this place, prices are really good. And the service is friendly. They have many other selections other than their chocolate or caramel filled churros. But they are well known for their churros for a reason because they are made fresh and filled fresh right in front of you. I highly recommend this place!!!

Absolutely fabulous churros! You can’t beat the price and quality! Pre-​ordered and everything went smooth on this transaction. I had to deliver these churros for a fundraiser and it was just total success! I’m so looking forward to my next order with this cold weather and some hot coffee to dip them into! :o)

I have driven an hour just to come pick up my chocoflan customized cakes from this bakery. They’re the yummiest and most beautiful cakes ever! I’m always a happy customer. Love this place so much!!! :)

This place is not close to me, but since I was in Boyle Heights for some tacos, I decided to get some churros too. They were excellent and on par with Disneyland churros. Made fresh to order — they were hot, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside… perfect!
I also bought some flan and tres leches to go. Both very solid too.
I don’t know if I would drive all the way to Huntigton Park for churros, but if I was in the area, these are definitely it!

I ordered 50 churros for my cousin’s going away party, he’s leaving for the army. Called around 11am & asked for them to be ready by 4. I spoke to a woman on the phone & she said it was fine. She even repeated the order.
Ok, 4 came so I called to let them know my brother would be going… girl on the phone… uhh we already gave your order away because you said 340. Um, wtheck! I told her that I said 4 & that it was a mistake on their part. She said that the person who took the order didn’t write her name & there was nothing she could do. I gave my # when I ordered so why didn’t someone call me… She said she didn’t know. Really?!
I told her I could wait a bit if they could still do my order. She said that the ticket said 340 so they were going to do their other orders & then they’d start mine. Really?!
Not once did she apologize & she had an idgaf tone! & it was their mistake! I was still willing to wait a little. I asked how long I’d have to wait… I got a simple, I don’t know, again! Really?!
Honestly who the hell hires these ppl! If she would have at least apologized for the mistake I would’ve shrugged it off because it’s just churros & it wasn’t going to ruin our party, but gosh so rude!
I will not be returning to this location. They have another in Bell Gardens & while I’m upset at the service I received here, I like the bakery, but I won’t be as eager to purchase from them anymore. The one in Bell Gardens is where I’ve always gone so I will not make the same mistake twice.
It does leave me feeling like they don’t value their customers.

My family and I have been coming to this bakery for years. Every cake I buy for myself or as a gift to someone I always know I need to buy it from here! They have cheap ($ 22.50) round cakes that can be picked up the same day if you dont need to special order the design. This is the to go place for tres leches cake. They also have mocha and a few others which I dont remember because I always get tres leches and mocha. They have slices for $ 2.50 if you wanna try it.

These churros here are the most beautiful, amazing, tasty things I have ever had… AND they are cheap! SO much win. I ordered 200 regular churros for my party and they were warm and crispy even hours after we picked them up! The churros at the bottom of the box were just as good as the ones on the top. They do not get soggy, which is a BIG deal for me. Nope! No soft, soggy, limp churros here! ;o)
We had leftover churros for days, and they were still good after you pop them into the toaster.
I absolutely recommend this place if you’re picking up a large batch of churros for a party (or yourself… I don’t judge). Ordering was super easy and the staff was helpful on the phone. I ordered about a week in advance. I have never physically been here since my friend who told me about this place helped me pick up my order. He said that it was busy (Saturday around noon) but the Churros were super warm.

I used to go down to the one on Gage. but thanks to a fellow Unilocalers tip on how they no longer make it fresh, I came to this location instead!
I was craving these darn things for 2 weeks before I finally gave in! I headed here during lunch about to buy 2 dozens to bring back to work. until I remembered they had ‘the list’ which lists out the pricing for how ever many churros you order is what ever price. I was ONLY going to get 36 (for $ 14.40)… then the lady goes *points at the bottom of the page* «IF you get 50 it’s only $ 15». Whattttttt? o_​o … ok. 50.
Now, my coworkers thought I was a bit ridiculous lugging back a huge box of churros to work. In 3 hrs, they were all gone.
