I can’t believe how far down this restaurant has sunk. The food now is inedible. Gas station fried food is better than theirs.
The batter to the fish and shrimp is no longer the light cornmeal. It’s flour based and greasy. The fries were cold, greasy, and limp. The fried oysters were rock hard. We didn’t eat more than half of our food because it was so bad.
This recent visit was our last. The food is gross and the service is slow and surly.

By far the worst service I have ever experienced. Left an hour after we ordered and still didn’t get our food. Horrible attitude by the staff and owner. I wouldn’t waste my time going unless you enjoy being ignored.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Kevin’s! My family & I go at least once a month. Always have great service, great food, and never waited longer than 15 minutes to be seated. I have been numerous times, and maybe have had one bad experience. I been eating at Kevin’s since before they moved to the location on the Diversion Canal. Will continue to go. Best seafood in my opinion!

Kevin’s…is…AWESOME. The food is spot on with a nice atmosphere. Steaks have always been delicious (and a lot of the time are cooked by Kevin himself). The gator bites are a must have!
The waitstaff is so friendly and sweet. The one time service was a little slow (it was a Friday and they were SLAMMED) our server was so apologetic. She was hustling her butt off to help us out.
If you’re in the mood for a quicker meal, or a drink, the bar area is always a ton of fun with great color commentary added by the locals that frequent the restaurant.
Unsure of what to eat? Don’t stress, it’s all delicious. :)
Last time I was there, Kevin and his wife came out to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. They were so kind and genuinely appreciative that we were patrons at their restaurant.
I highly recommend this local, tucked-away restaurant if you’re in the area!

Good food but terribly slow especially on Friday nights. Made all the worse by the fact that the owners fully expect people to wait that long. Only game in town so that explains the crowds.
