Twice I set up appointments it’s never the time they tell me over the phone
I had acrylics put on which looked like bulbous blobs

Just to update my previous review: While this was still the worst mani/​pedi of my entire life, I was impressed with the salon’s follow up on my review.
The owner of the salon, Vinh, contacted me to apologize and really went above and beyond any interaction I’ve had with a business prior. He said he was disappointed in knowing such poor quality work occurred at his salon, and he spoke with the technician as well as the rest of the team about my experience. The technician blamed the dryer, which was totally not true because it was on my toes too. However, Vinh said they would be testing the nail polish, the nail dryers, and everything in between to ensure it doesn’t happen again. He also refunded me the full amount.
Obviously, this doesn’t change how terrible my nails were, and it doesn’t give me back the time I wasted having to go to two salons to have it done right, but it says something about their professionalism to counter the lack thereof when I was at the salon.

Great pedicure and the massage was wonderful (and I’m not usually a fan of massages with pedicures). The only problem was the strong chemical/​acetone smell that filled the whole shop. Very nice establishment, lovely staff, but the place needs better ventilation — for the comfort of the customers and for the well-​being of the staff.

This place was wonderful! I just went in today to get a full set of acrylics, Amy was awesome. She took plenty of time to make sure they looked good and she made sure to ask me on more than one occasion if I liked how they were looking. I saw almost all american women that spoke good english which was nice because I was actually able to engage in conversation with my tech! The store was very clean, spacious and had a welcoming environment. They are a bit pricey, but then again, everything is pricey when you’re a college student. I definitely recommend!

Worst set of acrylic nails I’ve had in five years! Got a fill and in one week they were chirping and lifting. I will never go again! Very highly priced

I live out of state, but whenever I come visit and need to get my nails done, this is the only place I’ll go! GREAT customer service and quality pedicures. Love it and wish we had a place like this back home!

As a long time patron (more than 10 years!) of JKNS, I finally have to write a review. Very sanitary conditions and a super friendly, well educated staff. They have great professionalism and do amazing work. I made the mistake of visiting another local nail salon over the weekend with a friend and it reinforced how wonderful Jonathon Khoi is. I will never make that mistake again!

This is a great place. Very clean and everyone there is super friendly.
I’ve had different nail tech each time I’ve been there and they are all great. I like that they take time to make sure my nails look good, it’s not just some rushed job, like some other places.
I would recommend to anyone in the Maumee/​Toledo area.

What a professional place! Went here for the very first time and was very pleased. Really friendly service and timely work and a clean salon. My nail technician wasn’t the best, because I went later in the day I think she was tired… because she told me on more than one occasion. Despite this I really do think it’s one of the best nails salons this town has. Hopefully if/​when I go back it will be an even better experience.

i was introduced to them back in 2005 and am still going there when i can…
the owners are this super sweet couple that came from california and they know what theyre doing.
the spa is beautiful and they do a range of services…
its a bit pricey, but i say quality over quantity…
who can i recommend? all of them. specifics – mina (manicures) and keyshia (pedicures)
