Biggby Coffee

Great little coffee shop with really friendly baristas. They usually have a «latte of the day» which I will try once in awhile and have not been disappointed yet. That is how I found my current favorite, the island bear (vanilla, coconut, caramel). Quick service too considering they are always busy, gives me time to run next door and grab a bagel from Barry’s while they are preparing my drink. Other times I’ll wait for it and the baristas always strike up conversation. They really do seem to be genuinely friendly people.

Never does a latte justice. Tastes weak every time.

First time stop today. I am impressed. Next door to Barry Bagels, so you can also have a very good bagel sandwich with the great coffee. Nice lobby for customers. Just right.

This is now my go-​to spot for a quick caffeine shot on my drives to and from Michigan. The barrista created a coffee for my demanding requirements — has to taste like heaven and have almost no calories. Yep, they did it. Try a skinny Caramel Marvel — sugar free/​skim/​no whip with a shot of cinnamon, all topped off with a couple of shakes of cinnamon, too. Caffeine heaven!

Five stars! I frequently get coffee at this Biggby location before work and every time I walk in I get a hearty «Good Morning!» from the staff. It puts me in a great mood, every time I visit!

Michigan Cherry! I’m visiting the area from NJ and was looking for a regional/​local coffee shop. Drove by the Biggby Coffee, and saw the decent reviews of it here. Now I’m pondering if I should buy a bag of the Michigan Cherry coffee beans. Cherry’s not my usual flavor of choice, since it (more-​often-​than-​not) tastes artificial, but this one had a special aroma and taste that I want to bring back with me.

Great coffee shop with excellent coffee. Very busy in the morning and it is connected to The Bagel place next door.
The service is quick and friendly for how busy they are.

Anyhoo, this is my favorite coffeehouse in the area. The staff is always friendly & helpful, the coffee always fresh and a different flavor combo (hot or cold) each day. They are conveniently connected to Barry Bagels, making a great breakfast or lunch combination. There’s a small fireplace with 2 comfy chairs in front (my only complaint about the shop is that they need more comfy chairs). They also set up tables & chairs outside for when the weather is nice.
If you go to the Beaners website (
) you can sign up for coupons that come out once a week. Coupons can also be found in the Val-​Pak mailer, something you don’t get with Starbucks.
