I found a Toyota Sequoia while shopping on . I was in no hurry to buy, so, I really wanted to find the right truck for the right deal. This was the lowest mileage vehicle that I stumbled across, the price was reasonably within my budget, and it had the right color combo and options. Even though the dealership was 200 miles away, I decided to contact them. So glad I did. The following day, I had a phone call and email from Cindy Boyer. I was transparent in what I was looking for, what I was willing to pay, and what it would take to make the deal work. We went back and forth negotiating once or twice and she really went the extra mile to get the deal done. No games, no funny stuff, always up front and honest. I walked away super happy with the purchase. I asked Cindy to have all the paperwork ready for us when we arrived because we were traveling with an 18 month old and a 7 month pregnant wife. We drove 3.5 hours to make this happen and I am very happy we did. When we arrived, the truck was detailed, filled with gas, I took it on a nice test drive, and threw it on a lift to look underneath. We got back to the dealership, expecting to sit with finance for hours, turning down one extended warranty after another, and even that was pleasant. Literally a 15 minute experience. Cindy even got us dinner at a restaurant up the road. Thank you so much Cindy!!! I would go back to Cindy and KC Summers again in a heartbeat.

We were looking via the internet for a vehicle with quite specific features. The choice came down to a few and among them was one at KC Summers. But they were a 5-hour drive away. Nevertheless they were so easy to work with long distance that we made the drive and we’re glad we did — everything was arranged beforehand, we got top dollar for our trade in, no hassles, no hidden costs, no «gotchas», just a first-class experience from everyone especially our salesman Nick Shedosky. You always feel like if you’re honest with a car dealer, they will take advantage of you. But from the start, Nick was completely above board and honest and I trust him implicitly. The proof is in the end result, we are happy customers! I’ve never before had such a good car buying experience. The long drive was worth it. Now, KC Summers is going to be the first place we look at for our next vehicle.

I looked for a car for almost a year. I knew I wanted something with a 3rd row, but not a MiniVan. I own a Hyundai Sonata and love it, so I decided to stay with Hyundai. I looked for a Santa Fe within 300 mile radius. After emailing car dealership, everyone wanted me to come and see the car in person and I just felt like a fish on a hook being reeled in. Hook was a nice picture of a Santa Fe on with a deceiving price tag which reflected all of the discounts I could get from being in the military and in college at the same time… Reeling in was everyone who wanted me to make a long drive thinking I would not leave empty handed if I drove so far. So I asked all of the dealers to take a video presenting the car and send it to me. Over the last 3 months of my search, I must have asked this probably 30 – 40 times. I received various responses: that a video would not truly represent the car, that they did not have time to do it, that the file would be too large… Only one of them actually took time to prepare a video presentation of the car, upload it to youtube and send me a link. That was Jeff White from KC Summers. I bought this car the next day. This is what I call going an extra mile. THANKYOUJEFF!

I had been acompanying my daughter over the course of a few weeks while she searched for a late model used car, visiting a number of dealerships in east central Illinois. Had she found a car that suited her at any one of the several dealerships we visited, then likely an agreement could have been reached and a purchase made. It’s not likely, however, that we would have had as pleasant a buying experience as we had at K.C. Summers in Mattoon. The price was fair and never did we feel pressured to make the deal. Our salesman, Garrett, graciously took the time to help my daughter set up the bluetooth with her phone as well as show her the various features of the car even though it was well past closing time. As a nice little bonus we were given a free dinner at a nearby restaurant. I’ll gladly shop at K.C. Summers in the future. In fact, even though an hour drive away, they’ll be the first place I check!

Just bought a used 2011 Volvo C70 convertible from this dealership on 12÷30÷14. Super pleased with the condition of the used car. It was very clean. Our sales rep was Austin Powley who was a good communicator, genuine person, no games. Good pricing. I felt like it was a fair deal. Full tank of gas when I left. I’ll buy from them again. Drove far to find this specific vehicle but it was worth it!

I can honestly say the service department is the best that I have ever been too. The service managers Nathan Todd Dave Brent and everyone are very knowledgeable and friendly They do a good job and take good care of you. They are slightly more expensive hour wise compared to some places but their work is quality and makes up for it easily. Can’t go wrong here. Whether you have a new car or a thirty year old one they treat everyone equally.
