At Glow SkinWorks, you will find a tranquil, serene, restorative spa dedicated to improving your skin and overall well being. Our spa is nestled in Matthews, NC and conveniently accessible to Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

We offer many services including hair removal, eyebrow shaping, lash and brow tinting, facials, peels, airbrush spray tanning, skin consults and IMAGE medical grade skin products. Our treatments are very results oriented and customized in a warm, comforting setting. Clients are treated to a complimentary skin consult and product demo to customize a personal skin care plan to achieve their most radiant skin.

Robin Deese is a graduate of The Academy of Esthetics and owner of Glow Skinworks. She has a background in business and cosmetics. Since obtaining her esthetics license she is focused on her one true passion, skin care. As a licensed esthetician, Robin continually strives to advance her knowledge and techniques for her client’s benefit. Knowing no two clients have the same skin, Robin specializes in customizing chemical peels, home care products and waxing for the individual client. Having battled and overcome her own skin issues, including adult acne and melasma, Robin has devoted herself to addressing skin wellness for others, making radiant skin a reality for all.

Amazing experience! Robin was so kind and nice. This was my first time having anything waxed, so she took extra time to explain how things worked. I was so surprised by how little pain there was! She’s very easy to talk to, and was even accommodating of my acne. After, she suggested to me some products to try and gave me free samples! I was so impressed with her kindness and her sheer expertise. I couldn’t figure out how to get upstairs (her room is on the second floor) so I called and she walked out to meet me! Very very good experience.

I loved Robin and her place. She was so professional and made me feel at ease. She is so knowledgeable. I felt comfortable even though I have never been to an astestician before. She took care of my concerns that day and I am happy with the products I bought from her so far. I am glad I took the plunge at a younger age to keep my skin on track and aging at a slower rate. I have my next appointment already scheduled and I am confident in Robin taking care of all my skincare needs!

I just had my first appointment at Glow, and it couldn’t have gone any better! The owner, Robin, was welcoming and instantly set me at ease! She answered all of my questions openly and was even accommodating when I decided to add on something that I hadn’t booked.
The studio was clean and friendly, and I felt totally comfortable even though it was my first visit. Robin was happy to chat and made several very helpful recommendations for my skin.
I only tried her waxing services, but I was very impressed with he much care and effort she put into getting me great results. For the same price at most convenience waxing places I get not even half the service or results. After my appointment, I didn’t hesitate to book my next, and I’m looking forward to treating myself with some of the other treatments she offers!

I was a little skittish… full leg and first time bikini wax. Robin was professional and personable. It took longer than we expected … I’m not a skinny, petite lady. Robin was thorough and took her time. My husband is even impressed LOL. She communicated well before the appt. And let me know what she was doing doing the procedure. I would definitely recommend her.

I just moved into the area a few months ago and I’ve spent that time looking for someone to arch my eyebrows and after seeing Robin, I’m proud to say my search has ended. Robin was very professional, she took her time explaining the shape I should go for and I love it. I wish I’d done a before and after photo. She was also very personable and friendly. I absolutely love Robin! I go to her to get my eyebrows waxed and I have never been happier with how they’ve looked. If you want someone who will actually take the time to shape your brows for your face, and not just quickly wax you between manicures, she is the woman to go to! For my first appointment she spent about 30 minutes with me and not only did a killer job on my eyebrows, but paid attention to my weird skin problems & explained what caused them. When I went back the next time she gave me some samples of the skin care products she carries, & also gave my girlfriend (who isn’t even a client, just happened to come with me) some as well. I highly recommend her and can’t imagine going back to anyone else.

Love Robin!!! Her studio (super adorbs I might add) is located inside of Tease Salon in Plaza-​Midwood, so it’s a one-​stop shop if you’re wanting a day of feeling fab! When I first went in for my appointment I knew I wanted a facial, but I had no idea of what I reallllllly wanted out of the treatment. Robin took the time to ask me questions and get to the root of my skin grievances. She recommended a few things and I ended up trying an O2 facial. If you’ve never done O2 before then you should definitely try it — your face will thank you. She even let me take home a few Image product samples to try. I will definitely be back for some additional beautifying!
