Business Owner

Dr. Hobbs graduated magna cum laude with his Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from East Carolina University. He then obtained his doctorate of optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center, School of Optometry while working in a level one trauma intensive care unit and emergency department as a registered nurse. He furthered his training at the Birmingham Eye Foundation Low Vision Clinic and the Tuscaloosa Veterans Administration Hospital. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina Optometric Association and the Piedmont Optometric Society.

He provides a wide range of eye care services including primary treatment and management of ocular diseases, pediatric eye care, low vision treatment and visual rehabilitation. He also performs Lasik evaluations pre and post operative catract surgery management, specialty and general contact lens and glasses correction.
