History

Established in 1978.

In January of 1978, a company was formed to represent the Freightliner brand for the West Michigan area and it was named Freightliner of Grand Rapids Incorporated. In 1985 the operation was moved to its present location on Clay Avenue in Grand Rapids on a 13 acre tract of land. The organization made a bold move and added a branch in Kalamazoo in the fall of 1994 off of Sprinkle Road in the heart of the city of Kalamazoo. During November 2005, the Kalamazoo location was relocated to a multimillion dollar complex on a 25-​acre tract of land in the village of Mattawan Michigan.

Very early in working with the Freightliner brand of trucks it was believed that it would be a wise decision to add an aggressive used truck strategy to the operation. We are known for having one of the largest and most diverse used truck inventories in the country. We currently have over 100 trucks in stock between both locations.
