OMG where to start. I had Safe Home Suckurity install a system in my house. Never a late payment. Even called and had my other home set up. In 2007 I decided to cancel, after my 3 years was up. I mailed my letter to these incompetent @#*&$@*s 60 days before my contract ended. They CLOSED the office they used to have under this name and have apparently now moved it to Matthews? Anyway it took the post office and the mail took two weeks to return my letter. I mailed it to the address on the top of my CONTRACT. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY WENT DARK/​MOVED OR WHATEVER? Nothing but scare tactics and constant phone calls begging me back. They turned me into the credit reporting agencies and thought that was going to get me to pay them for another three years. A BIG FUCK YOU TO SAFE HOME SECURITY. Even the attorney general in their home state has deemed their tactics unconstitutional but they continue to prey and extort people. I finally called them up and told them I had my number changed and I wanted to be sure they had it, so I could get it changed to some random number I made up so they would quit calling me. This is by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I hope they go bankrupt and may they all rot in hell.

I would agree with the one other review on this company. I have had nothing but problems with them. The things I were promised by the salesman who came to my door were not delivered. When I contacted the company they said they did not know who the salesman was because they could not read his signature and they use independent companies to go door to door. This is my first ever negative review on Unilocal,but I had to let people know not to use them.

Never, ever, ever do business with this company. Without getting into all the details, after all rules were complied with for cancellation, after I followed the instructions they told me on the phone, turns out they were not telling the whole story and I was on the hook for another year of monitoring that they were not providing, because they said they did not receive the cancellation letter in time, despite the fact that I mailed it 3 months before my contract was up. Should have done it certified mail. They don’t return calls, they are walking the fine line between legality and being crooks. AWFUL EXPERIENCE
