Wine Factory Liquor Outlet

Wow. What a selection. They may not have exactly what you’re looking for but they’ll have something better. That being said, you kind of have to know what to look for. I went in for a bottle of Juan Gil 18 Meses which they didn’t have (It was a shot in the dark anyway, I’ve only seen it in stores once and it was the last bottle). I ended up with a bottle of Saldo by Orin Swift, the same wine maker as The Prisoner and E (and F and CA etc.) Amazing. The only thing that kind of got to me was the counter help. When I originally asked if they carried the bottle, the counter clerk took a bit too long to stop scrolling through Instagram or what ever app it was to look up and make eye contact. Maybe I should have FB messaged to ask instead.

I’m not a huge liquor/​wine junkie (I’m a beer kinda gal), so I was totally clueless on where to find a special Don Julio tequila that my bf wanted for his birthday. I was in the Levittown area and drove to about 5 liquor stores in the area, but none of them carried the tequila. I finally remembered Wine Factory since it’s right next to my favorite Mexican fast-​food joint.
Wine Factory is tucked in a corner of a shopping strip between Ace Hardware and some restaurants. It looks tiny from the outside but I was impressed at how far back it went once I walked in. They were immediately able to locate the tequila I was looking for, and another worker got it for me since it was all the way on the top shelf. After searching in so many stores, I found the Don Julio right by my house! I will definitely come here next time I need something that’s hard to find. I’d say skip this place if you’re looking for something more common, because they are slightly higher priced that other liquor stores.

This place has so many choices for wine. Seriously, it’s huge. But, the prices aren’t really competitive. They are more expensive than the other stores in the area.
I never come here for liquor, because that would be a complete waste. I do come here if I’m looking for a specific bottle of wine, for a special occasion.
The associates, for the most part, are really wonderful. I used to avoid this location because one of the associates made a nasty comment to my mother for asking for a kosher wine, for the Jewish holiday. But, she has since been let go, and I feel comfortable coming back.
