Specialties
Our students range from 2 — adult … all levels and competitive dancing as well. We have award winning dancers and professional choreographers specialized for each class.
Classes include: tap, ballet, jazz, broadway jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, all boys classes, adult classes, and 2 year old classes too!
At Legacy Dance Center we strive to shape and develop creative, confident dancers. Dancers are taught technique, teamwork and the art of dance in a structured and positive environment. We strive to bring out the very best in each dancer and encourage their unique individual personalities. All our students develop as individuals while we remain a «dance family.»
Our goal is to provide your child professional instruction in a nurturing environment. Our instructors provide the students with pleasant dance studio experience which promotes self-confidence, discipline and the structure of each art form.
History
Established in 2014.
This Dance Studio was formerly JACTO dance studio and
was established on
Broadway, Massapequa in 1952.
We ARE the first dance studio in Massapequa!
Taken over by Miss Dana, who was teaching at jacto dance studio for 7 years, and formerly a NBA dancer for the Atlanta Hawks.

DIRECTOR
Miss Dana has been teaching for about 10 years and dancing practically her whole life. Hip hop is her passion. She has been on a traveling team from the ages of 13 – 19 and competed in many competitions all over the east coast. She has also taught some of the company classes which travel and were award winning teams, as well as teaching regular weekly classes of hip hop, jazz, pom/kick and preschool combo classes. She teaches at various different competitive dance studios on long island and also does choreography for Molloy College Dance Team and Adelphi Univeristy Dance Team. Dana has danced professionally for the NBA in Atlanta, Georgia for the Atlanta Hawks Cheerleaders, and also did performances and work with the NFL Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders. She now travels to Atlanta to do choreography for the Atlanta Hawks Cheerleaders for their game day dance routines. She is overjoyed to have such an amazing dance family, and can’t wait to start a new «legacy» from here on out!
