I have recently started going to this location and I have had no problems! If you have an appointment everything normally runs smoothly. I tend to go on the weekends or at night and I usually never have to wait! I recommend using Kelly as your waxer. She is quick and does a great job!
I recently decided to buy a wax pass package buy 9 get 3 free which is great because it lowers the cost of each wax a decent amount! You can also download the app and you get points if you refer friends :) Pricewise they are a little more expensive than a nail salon or other places, but you get what you pay for and with waxing you definitely want the best!!!
Also, if you are a first time customer you can get certain services for free!

After a long time of not finding the time to wax i finally made it back today! While i was sad that my former waxer was not there (diana) i had an AMAZING experience with britney! I felt so comfortable with her… you would think she has been there for years but she has only just started! I will definitely be requesting her… she knows her stuff!

Absolutely love this location! My go to waxer, Elainna is excellent! I actually look forward to a wax as we always have a great conversation! She is professional, sanitary, and very thorough! I highly recommend your next wax with her!

Made a 315pm appointment same day and was able to be accomodated. Using GPS through Unilocal led me in the wrong direction though so it took me longer to locate. The receptionist was helpful and instructed me to take a right rather than left, and find the pier1 shopping center. There is no signage for the wax center on the banner. There is a small sign in the parking lot. When I walked in, one front desk girl was on the phone confirming a reservation and the other said they would be right with me and then she proceeded to make a reservation phone call. Proper etiquette would tell me to serve the person in front of you rather than have them wait to make a phone call but that’s just my opinion. I arrived at 3:10pm and was seen by Kelly by 3:20. Kelly was pleasant and did my lower leg/​under arms wax. I had explained that I wasn’t sure if my hair was long enough and Kelly said I could come back in a couple of days if that was the case. I was leaving for PR the next day so luckily we were able to move forward. There were some strays that I noticed on my legs once I took a shower that evening but nothing crazy.

Today was my second time ever being waxed at the European wax center. My first time was okay but it wasn’t until today until I really loved the after math of being waxed. The girl who waxed me the first time is no longer at this location so they gave me who ever was available which was Mackenzie. I must say she was great! Last time I went to get the Brazilian wax it took about 30 minutes but with Mackenzie it literally took no longer than 7 minutes (I even got my lower back done as well). If you’re going to the wax center and not too sure who to get I would suggest Mackenzie. Great personality and does a great job. Although I’m not too big on waxing due to the pain I can honestly say I think I would go back because it was 1−2−3 out the door.:)

there’s only so much you can say about getting a brazillian wax so i’ll keep this succinct
1) they have their own proprietary brand of wax which is a really pretty purple color
2) they are ridiculously fast. seriously i think i was in and out in 20 min
3) pretty painless as far as waxes go. i’m not sure if that’s due to the speed or the wax
4) super nice nice staff
5) no double dipping
6) no missed patches
also i waited a couple days from getting waxed to writing this review because i was sort of worried that the speed might mean more hair was broken off at the skin vs being pulled out, but nope, no patches, no ingrown hairs, nothing.
so yeah i’m a fan. typically i go to a boutique salon in venice so my idea of expensive might be a bit skewed but i was not put off by the price at all. since i’ll be on long island for a couple months i’ll totally be going back there.

I go to Ris and she is amazing! I have a package of Brazilian waxes and she does such a clean job. She is so quick and has a great personality. Always makes it a good experience. I would absolutely recommend her, you have to come here and see her if you want a great wax!

Came here on Thursday to get a wax before vacation. Very clean, comfortable, and about as pleasant as a wax can be. My waxer was Kelly, she did a great job! I would definitely recommend coming here, and I’ve already made my appointment for next month! Keep in mind the girls at the front will try to sell you either a more involved procedure or a package, but they’re just doing their jobs!

I been to this location plenty of times. I love it. Specially because McKenzie is so sweet and nice. Not going to lie love the place but McKenzie is who makes the difference.

Excellent job! This was my first wax ever and Kelly was superb! Very professional, friendly and she explained everything. Clean comfortable atmosphere. She did a wonderful job. I’ll definitely be back.

everyone says this place is expensive… its not expensive… but its not cheap… but if you go to a nail salon and pay 10 for a brazilian that will keep you red and sore for days and can possibly harm ur skin and give it breakouts– then you get what you pay for.
EWC is the best thing that has happened to me. Not to my credit card but to my body, so it is so worth it. I hate the thought of razors, i dodge that isle in the supermarket!
I have gotten waxed before and it was the most painful experience of my life. I decided to give this place a whirl since their methods dont involves a painful strip of cloth wax. They use all natural bees wax and it does hurt but wow you feel amazing and smooth after. I LOVE RIS! she is so funny, and gentle that i refer her to everyone considering getting waxed.. She makes the experience go quickly! I personally dont think anyone is pushy here, they ask you if you are interested in a package, pitch you the sale and if you say no, they’re done mentioning it. I think its worth it to do the monthly package personally because you do save money.

Place is very clean and staff did seem pushy but professional. I was not 100% happy with my waxing. I had been going to Florida the next day and got a bikini and half leg wax. She missed many spots. I was disappointed. I’ve gotten waxed before and that never happened. I don’t plan on going back especially that the prices aren’t cheap

Love this location. All the girls in here are really great. The girls at the front desk are always really sweet and attentive. Of course they offer you packages but thats their job, I never feel overwhelmed by it and they’re never pushy.
The atmosphere makes such a big difference. I never thought I would see the day where there was an actual difference in my hair growth. I have no problem waiting the 4 weeks for my next appt. I had one not so good experience with one of the waxers. She was very quiet but sweet. Went over the same spot a few too many times which left me sore until the next day. The connection between the you and the waxer really make a difference. my usual lady is Ris and shes GREAT. She keeps tgw conversation going and before you know it you’re all done. I noticed with my other experience that is was so quiet and different I anticipated the pain.

Horrible experience will never go back!!! I had a bikini line and eye brow wax. The girls name was Mackenzie she was way too quick going back and forth to both body parts. I walked out of there with huge brusies– black and blues on both sides of my bikini and inner leg. The girl told me that it will go away in couple of days. Called the next day to speak to supervisor, they finally called back after and the supervisor Kate was making excuses and best part she said its the way I moved and next time I need to stay calm. I am very upset going away and 3 days later bruises are still here. This place is like a factory they want you in and out and very pushy to buy packages, etc. They didnt seen to care at all. not professional at all!

Who knew I would end up devoting so much money to pampering and at first it was a tough pill to swallow. am I really laying out X amount of money per month for waxing when I could just shave and save so much money? (in comparison to laser and electrolysis it’s actually not that expensive haha)
As time went on this became very justified. I can’t even look at a razor now, that is how drastic the difference is. I have suffered from eczema almost every winter of my life. I would wake up in the middle of the night and my legs would itch so bad that I would just keep scratching until it bleeds. I know it sounds gross but my legs would just get so dry and itchy and scabby and red and embarrassing ugly even with using special creams meant for itchy dry eczema skin. I just thought this is part of life and whatever.
Been waxing at this location for months and This was the FIRST winter that my legs are smooth as a baby’s ass, not a scratch mark in sight, I am not even staying on top of the constant lotioning, and I am just in shock. Shaving with a razor is something i would never go back to and I think it is horrible for dry sensitive skin HORRIBLE. Waxing has made me conscious of exfoliating my skin every time that i am in the shower and also it DOES exfoliate your skin when you get waxed. That combined with NOT using a razor has fixed my itchy skin.
I really don’t want to get too personal with this review because my face is up here and whatnot but I will say that every waxing experience I have had here other than legs is very good and as time goes on the hair grows in so thin and scarce that it is not a big deal at all waiting four weeks which I was skeptical of at first. After a fresh wax you stay feeling and looking smooth for quite a while. The pain is pretty sharp the first time but then lessens and is totally worth it to me — actually it can be a little exhilarating. Christina is excellent, professional, and doesn’t miss a spot! If you are looking for a professional wax that is going to lead you to the most beautiful soft skin ALL OVER, start waxing here and after a few months you won’t believe the difference.
My husband is even considering trying waxing one day because he is so pleased with the results on me !

This European Wax Center is by far the best one I have ever been to! The whole experience was great! The girls at the desk are friendly and the waxers are terrific! I specifically come to this location because I always know I’ll have a great experience here!
My waxer really takes her time to ensure a quality wax. She pays attention to detail and really makes me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this wax center!

Just finished a Brazilian wax here– I was so incredibly nervous since I had only had one once before and it was worse than childbirth, surgery or any tattoo I’ve gotten! I said I’d start with a bikini and if I could handle the pain go for full on Brazilian– Mackenzie was phenomenal! She finished the whole Brazilian without me even knowing — she kept me calm, talked to me and I felt comfortable enough to joke around with her. I wouldn’t say it’s painless, but it was a surprisingly pleasant experience that was over quite quickly. I’m so happy I already booked my next appointment! Don’t waste your time anywhere else– just go here!

You know how you go to get your eyebrows done at the local nail salon? How they burn you? How your eyebrows are lopsided? How you’re red for 3 days after?
This will never happen to you here. You get what you pay for when you go to the nail salon and pay $ 5.
I’m not going to lie to you, this place has a pretty hefty price tag, but, in my opinion, it is worth it. $ 16 is the price to get your eyebrows waxed here. It will last you about a month before you need to make another visit. They also have packages for all of your waxing needs, which I think is really nice, and makes it more affordable.
I have only visited this location once, but because I work nearby, I interact with the associates and owners of this business. Everyone is wonderful.
The environment of this location is so tranquil. Sometimes getting waxed can be stressful, because you’re aware of the upcoming pain. But, this place makes you feel calm and comfortable.
Their specialty wax is really what makes this place go above and beyond. It does not inflict as much pain as regular wax, redness is limited, and it is all natural.
Stop by at this location, I can assure you, it will be worth it.
