M & M La Solution Flat Fix

Because I am working long hours and they are open ²⁴⁄₇ I went to them to install my four new tires. The price was like in most of the places. What a mistake. First what I noticed the guy is leaving the old valves. I told him like other places replaces the valves for that price but he said I will have to pay extra for the valves, then he struggled with one of the tire. Finally the job was done, the car fenders full of grease fingerprints. About 5 days later I noticed one tire going down. I filled it with air and after another 5 days the tire when down again so I went to the shop so they can check on the tire but the skinny guy with curly hair said that this is not his problem and i will have to pay for the service again. He said if I will come the next day he will reinstall the tire for free but it is two weeks now and the warranty is over. In summary the prices are not bargain but the service is bad and no warranty.

Used to be a quick, courteous, and reliable place to get your tires fixed. Some of the guys I’ve dealt with in the past have been really nice, fast working, and thorough. They are really busy all the time lately though, so prepare to wait if you come at any decent time. The cars pile up and, since they work curbside, sometimes the guys are literally hanging their asses out in traffic if they are changing tires on the driver side.
There’s a new night guy I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with twice this week, though. He’s kind of abrasive, and it seems like he makes up arbitrary pricing depending on how much he thinks he can get out of you. He told me one price for mounting and balancing four tires, then tried to change the price after I peeked into my wallet to see if I had enough cash… suddenly, $ 10 more for each rear tire… «because they are 19s» and «you don’t need to balance the back». ALL of my wheels are 19s, guy. Why are the back two $ 10 more suddenly?
I also have my suspicions about the amount of nails I’ve been picking up lately in my tires around the hood since this place opened, but I’ll keep those to myself.
Overall, not a bad place to go if you can’t find any other place late at night, but not the best tire shop in the area. I have reviewed my favorite local place as well.
