Food pretty good and prices very reasonable. Not bad at all… decent portions. Place to go of you are really hungry and would like a nice cold beer on tap!!!

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious home Polish cooking. The portions are very generous. Most likely you will need a doggy bag. The prices are very reasonable. Serve great large mugs of beer, $ 5. Top it off with some blintzes and coffee, all most likely under $ 25. The service is friendly and timely. I have gone there many times, I was always highly satisfied with the food. Concerning the noise level. Yes, it can get noisy at times. The polish patrons, when they have a good time, they do get get carried away with their emotional conversations. The place has poor acoustics, and at times I do have difficulty to carry on a table conversion. FOLLOWUP: Went there again for my wife’s birthday. There was only one waitress to attend the bar and serve the dining room, she was literally running like crazy, and she was simply overwhelmed. I felt sorry for her. My wife waited 20 minutes for her drink. The calmare was terrible, one of the pork chops was dry, overcooked, the rest of the food was very good. Otherwise, I still like this place and I hope this was a isolated case. For this reason I downgraded from 5 to 4 stars.

First time going and the service, food and drinks were great. We were looking for a small place nearby for some finger foods and drinks and this was perfect! I had pirogies, cheesecake and sangria. Strongly recommend the pirogies!

Grate food… Real authentic Polish cuisine with American favorites on the menu also. The kapusta(sourkraut) croquet was a pleasant surprise(like a Chinese eggroll) served with my sweet and tangy warm borcht soup. l Hope they expand the Polish fair on the menu. It’s a welcome change of pace to all the Italian and asian restaurants that are around.

This place is the most unprofessional place I have been to in my entire life. First of all the food was not fresh and how do I know? It came half way still frozen. Come on it supposed to be a restaurant right? If I want food that is prepared in the microwave I will go to frozen section in STOP and SHOP. Second of all, they do not know the difference between martini and margarita. I ordered margarita, I got martini with some cheap vodka that tasted and smelled like robbing alcohol and obviously with lime on the side that was already dried up and already changed color which I assumed was there for a week. The waitress was very unprofessional and very unpleasant. Sorry, never going to visit this place again.

Traditional polish food. I dine in here with my daughter every so often. I recommend the tiramisu cake. It’s amazing, and probably the main reason we keep getting pulled back in. I recommend this place to everyone. Don’t judge till you try the food. It’s always good and fresh.

Place looks nice and clean, but when we ordered an appetizer, it was so cold — almost frozen and desert(tiramisu) was frozen all the way. Drinks ok, but when we ordered regular Margarita, we got FROZEN Margarita instead. And it is January!!! This is not the right place to go to warm up…

Great authentic Polish food and many other dishes. I personally love the steak here. The food is very well priced for around $ 20 you can get bread and this awesome polish spread, salad, choice of potato, and a large rib eye steak. The wait staff is friendly and nice and they have good polish beer on tap. A great neighborhood joint for a casual dinner with family or friends.

Never again — we went there to watch a soccer match, place was unorganized waitresses weren’t able to determine who ordered what, had to wait half hour for a round of beer while people next us waited a moment. Most importantly my food tasted like sh*t, felt like they spilled a whole container of salt on just my meal. There are lots of better polish restaurants out there, this one should be avoided.

Good basic Polish fare. They rent the back of the restaurant for parties with very loud music. A little too loud for our taste. If I have to yell across the table while eating, I’ll never return.

So far the best chicken soup, except the home made of course:) do not recommend sea food, but grilled kielbasa and cabbage rocks! very decent prices and friendly staff. everything always fresh.

I love Johnnys Café and I(almost) always get the House Grilled Chicken. Only one negative, it can get pretty loud when there’s a party in the back, but who cares if the food is great =)
