Crux Bar

Been here few times over the years. My friend use to go to this divebar and I believe he started to recently go again… but complained that there were a bit too much barfights here (I wish I could get involved in a bar fight, haha!). It’s a solid divebar joint. Relaxing environment. They dont’ serve pitchers though but buckets of beers.

I was there on a Thursday night. I liked it. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. I had a good time.

My co-​workers and I headed over to Crux on a weekday for what was supposed to be one drink. We ended up having such a great time, we stayed until 11:00 p.m.!!
The bartender was great. She read us the specials and was very attentive, ready to pour the next drink when our glass got low. When we got hungry, one of the owners who was there gladly helped us out with info on the local delivery places and then even placed the order for us!
The jukebox was on and had great selections (Arcade Fire and MGMT). It was not loud, so we could keep the conversation going.
We chatted it up with a group of regulars, who like Crux so much, they had built a bottle drop for the place (the bartender can drop an empty from the bar and it gently rolls down and down until it lands in the basement, in one piece, ready to be recycled). I love that kind of neighborhood bar camaraderie!
When the weather gets warm, stop here for a drink in the backyard!

Love the bartenders and the people, great place to have a couple relax and meet new people. Must go if around and want a good time
