I really like this salon. I don’t ask for a specific person but each of the nail techs I’ve had has done a wonderful job with my gel manicure. They are also extremely friendly. I love the customer service, I haven’t been disappointed yet!

This five star salon is staffed by friendly technicians and is beautifully decorated all around. I really like coming here for pedicures. They always give me great service every time. Can’t wait to be back again.

Venetian is amazing! Tina and Julie are very talented and will exceed your needs. Clean place and always friendly! You won’t be disappointed!

This salon does a nice job and I recommend asking to have an assistant manager do your nails. If you ask, you can soak longer at the front end or relax after at the back end of the pedi. I can’t give 5 because the person who did my nails could not explain how to use the chair and sometimes did not understand my English. Another time, I wanted a fill and ended up with a full-​priced redo. The experience varies from tech to tech so you’ll have to try a few different ones to find a favorite. The owner is super sweet and over all this is a pleasant, professional salon.

The service here has slowly gone downhill. The pricing varies from time-​to-​time when you pay cash. Every nail tech feels the need to ask me if I’m Vietnamese. Yes, I am of Asian descent, but I am American. Also, from what I’ve read, you are not supposed to mix shellac and gel polish systems. The last time, the guy discouraged me from picking a CND color, when they always cure the polish with a LED lamp, instead of UV lamp.
My experience yesterday will make me think twice about going back. It wasn’t relaxing at all! I started with one tech at one station and she wrapped my nails in acetone and foil to remove my gel polish. Then I had to switch to a different tech at the other side of the salon. The girl was new and she’s terrible! She asked if I’m Vietnamese, and constantly checked her cell phone. When she trimmed my cuticles, it was the MOST UNPLEASANT experience ever. I was in pain, and she kept telling me to relax my hand. She did not have to trim off that much to the point of bleeding. 4 of my fingers were cut and bleeding, and sprayed alcohol on it. When I asked if I can go wash my hands, her response was, I already cleaned it with alcohol. I proceeded to the sink to wash my hands anyway, since blood kept coming out. When I returned to the chair, she insincerely apologized as I continue to wipe the blood off on the towel. She rushed through the gel polish application, did a terrible job filing my nails, and when you’re at work, you should probably not open your drawer to check your phone every 5 minutes. I ended up giving her a 17% tip, when I shouldn’t have tipped at all. I think I will go to a more reputable salon in the future, since nothing about the Venetian was relaxing!

New favorite spa! I went in with a friend on a weekend morning (peak time) for a pedicure, and we were seated within 5 minutes without an appointment. This is the most professional, clean, welcoming salon I’ve been to. The prices may be a few dollars higher than some other salons, but I think it’s worth it.
I didn’t get a gel manicure there, but I was looking at the gel colors — huge selection! Can’t wait to make this my regular go-​to.

I’ve been very loyal to Venetian for many years. Today, I recieved the world’s worst eyebrow waxing. The associate who waxed my eyebrows took a chunk out of the middle of one of my brows. She failed to alert me of the issue at the time it occurred, and then made the decision to wax the other eyebrow to match. I am left with the thinnest eyebrows I’ve ever had, one of which is missing a section. She then apologized and charged me for the service. Too stunned to react, I paid and left. I heard her tell her manager what had happened, and he replied by thanking her for her honesty and not addressing the issue with me, though I was standing a few feet away. There were multiple points throughout this service where Venetian associates and management could have made the best of a poor situation, but chose not to. My eyebrows will grow back, but I will not be returning to Venetian.

I had a great first mani-​pedi experience at the Venetian. I called the night before to see about making a appt and was told I could even show up before open, if I wanted, as someone would be there to help me. Friendly, talkative technician, and I was not rushed at all. Up-​selling attempts, sure, but c’mon, it’s a business! And my hands and feet got a MUCH needed makeover, so I am very happy with the results!

I’ve been going to Venetian nails for years! Tommy is the best. He does a great job with the gel manicure, taking time to get full coverage and letting them «cook» for the right amount of time every time. I’ve gone to other places while traveling and none compare to Venetian!

This is my place for a pedicure. I ask for Nick. He is very polite, friendly, and makes sure I have a good experience. My toes always look perfect when I visit Nick. And he gives great massages. Doing shellac tonight — long lasting for pretty summer toes.

This is an excellent nail salon! They do the best job of any salon around! And it’s very economical at the same time. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming and they do a fantastic job! I drive 20 minutes just to visit this place. tonight I took my daughter and rudely went later than we should have but Julie stayed late, didn’t rush and still made it an enjoyable experience.

Took my girlfriend, her daughter, and my daughter tonight and they all loved it and their nails turned out great highly recommend

I wanted to get a gel manicure so I stopped in. I was really happy that they could get me in right away. The nail tech seemed like she was in a hurry. After I got my manicure I noticed that the nail tech cut into my cuticles too far in three separate places. Don’t think I will be back. Looks good except for my bleeding and painful cuticles.

Venetian is great for an impulse mani/​pedi. It’s reasonably priced & I’ve never waited more than 10 min as a walk in. But its not a relaxing & pampering experience.
My nail tech set a kitchen timer as she began. Nothing says relaxation like a timer anxiously counting down the seconds until you must leave. My pedi was rushed. I’m frankly impressed by how fast she was with clippers. I was asked to pay as soon as she finished. I found myself pulling out a credit card before I even had a chance to glance at my toes.
After I signed, my nail tech ushered me to the drying station. I asked to stay in my massage chair instead. Honestly, reading magazines as my nails dried was the most relaxing part of the whole trip.
Overall, Venetian got the job done. My toes are clean, neat & shiny (but heels are still rough). Plus I’m caught up on this week’s tabloids.

Went on a Wed night about 4:15 with two other friends for pedicures. Checked in and was told it would be about 15 min. We waited and they seated us in about 15 min. They began my two friends pretty quickly while I waited. The water became cold and uncomfortable, and they were painting my friend’s toes before they tried to begin on me. At that point I told them never mind as I had another appointment to get to. It would have been nice had they just told me up front it would be a long wait.
I added an additional star than I first thought because, on the positive side, my two friend’s pedi’s looked great.

Service was horrible. The lady named Cindy who herself could only say a broken English and was barely able to understand the request. She however thought I was not capable of communicating in English and said to me,“ask one of your friend who speaks English to talk to me”. WTF, that’s all I can say.

Tried Venetian again today and I’m glad i did. My technician was Sean and he did a fantastic job! The massage during both the mani and pedi was one of the best I’ve had. He was so nice and did a great job on both services. I accidentally messed a nail up before leaving and he happily fixed it right up. Great service and value today, will be back.

This is by far the best place in Cinci for mani’s and pedi’s. I am NEVER disappointed.
CLEAN! This is clean clean clean. Sterile packages of tools for every client. Lysol and Clorox sitting by the pedi tubs. Gloves are worn.
Fantastic service… friendly people… quality work. I always love my life a little bit more when I leave here.
They put a heated pad that smells good on your neck while you get your pedicure and the massage chairs are awesome.
Perfect for parties. Prices are moderate and totally worth the service you get.
Perfect location for a whole day of shopping, eating out, and pampering yourself. Love it! I really don’t know why I bother going anywhere else.

I walked-​in here recently (no appointment), late afternoon on a weekday, intending to get a pedicure. At sign-​in, they convinced me to add a manicure because I thought it was only $ 4 more than the pedicure alone. Too good to be true was true here because it turned out that I misunderstood the pitch and a manicure is actually $ 12 to add to a pedicure (which saves you $ 4 vs. purchasing separately). In any case, the wait time before getting to the pedicure chair was about 15 minutes, which was fine, but then once they stuck me in the pedicure chair, it was another 20 minutes before the nail tech actually came over, which was not fine. The foot bath water was cold and my feet were prune-​y before he started.
The nail tech was very nice, but we didn’t understand each other very well. I specifically asked him not to cut my cuticles before he started and then he proceeded to do exactly that before I stopped him and asked again. It was also very difficult to understand what he was saying and I felt bad that I had to have him repeat himself at least once every time he spoke. Overall, the pedicure polish job turned out well, but only a couple of days later the shiny finish was gone and I had to reapply a top coat myself to get it back.
Unfortunately, the manicure that I wish I didn’t add on in the first place was a bit of a disaster. My hands were only soaked in cold water for just a few seconds so when he pushed back my cuticles, it hurt and wasn’t effective. He also left a couple of nails uneven and one with a jagged edge from the overly coarse file (which he fixed when asked), but it seemed like he was in a big hurry overall and the manicure did not turn out well at all.
I only stopped in here because I had some free time in that particular part of town, but I certainly wouldn’t make a special trip to come back here. Also, to correct something that was mentioned in a previous review, the discount for paying with cash is 5%.

I was nervous when I found this place on Unilocal because it hadn’t been reviewed in a while, but the older reviews were good and I needed my eyebrows waxed that day so I stopped by!
The salon is huge! There was a person in every chair and several others waiting to be seated. They have at least 10 nail technicians and everyone was happy and chatting away!
I was called back quickly and the woman who did my eyebrows was excellent! She had a gentle touch and was very meticulous! She took her time and the end result was worth every second!
The waxing was $ 15 and I felt this was quite fair. The receptionist and everyone else I encountered were very kind. I’ll definitely be back!
