History

Established in 1971.

Shiver Security Systems, Inc. dba Shiver Security Services has provided integrated security solutions, access control, video (CCTV), and fire protection for thousands of customers in southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky since 1971.

In 1970 Raymond A. (Chip) Shiver and his father, Rex, established Shiver Security Systems, Inc. In the same year they acquired the Sonitrol franchises for Cincinnati and Dayton and became Shiver Security Systems, Inc. dba Sonitrol of SW Ohio. Upon his father’s retirement, Chip Shiver became sole owner of the company and has been running Shiver Security ever since.
