History

Established in 1997.

Jim Hood started in real estate as a full time real estate agent during the days when the source of information concerning available homes was only available in printed books and legal debates abounded about whether contracts sent via a fax machine were legal. As innovation and changes came, Jim had a ringside seat, learning how to use new technology as an opportunity to keep his clients in front.

While technology is important, it is just a tool. Everything revolves around the home buyer or home seller’s needs and the unique characteristics of any home.

Jim’s market and horizons expanded by adding a Kentucky real estate license, moving up to RE/​MAX from a small local company and then becoming the broker of RE/​MAX Elite in 2004.

Advanced designation have been earned. Designations include: Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS®), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE®), and International Real Estate Specialist (IRES®).

Business Owner

Jim was born in Cincinnati and raised in Daytona Beach when G.E. moved the family to a new plant to service the space race of the 1960’s. He earned a B.A. at Florida Christian College and later an M.A. at Cincinnati Christian University. His work experience includes work with local congregations as well as internationally in Japan.
