I came with a group of 8 on a weeknight so the place was pretty much empty. Our server was happy to help us and didn’t seem annoyed at all(like most servers are when large groups of people come in). Our food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted great!

They just remodeled this iHop & it looks sooo nice! You would never think is an iHop. Now it matches the rest of Mason-Montgomery restaurants. It was also a very nice surprise that they had Pumpkin Pancakes! I was sooo craving them but the website did not say anything about having them. They were pretty good like all their pancakes! Their omelettes are still huge! Love it!

Stopped at this location last night at 6:20 pm for a quick dinner. Hubby ordered a BLT and I ordered the senior special, 2 eggs scrambled, 2 pieces of bacon, well done and 2 pancakes. One would think and expect that a primarily breakfast place could do breakfast decently even at dinner hour. At 6:20 pm, besides us, 2 other tables were eating, the place was empty. That should have been our first clue. After a solid hour wait, during which time the waitress did bring out a fruit bowl for our grandson and some crackers, he was getting fussy, our food came out. I immediately noticed my bacon was white, not done at all, despite my asking for well done. Further, I took a bite of eggs and they were cold. The waitress was going to send my bacon back for more cooking but after I took a bite of cold scrambled eggs, I told her never mind, we didn’t have another hour to wait for my food to be recooked. My pancakes were hot so I ate 2 pancakes for dinner. The mgr did come over and took my dinner off our bill, but we won’t be back. Terribly long wait for a simple dinner of breakfast food and a BLT w fries. An hour wait is excessive unless a restaurant is jam packed and the cooks have called off. Poorly run restaurant. It was nice the servers brought out crackers and a fruit bowl for our 2 yr old grandson but if our food had been served in a timely manner, he wouldn’t have been so fussy. All 3 of us were thoroughly disgruntled when we left. Since we both clearly stated bacon well done when we ordered there is no excuse for raw bacon, especially after an hour wait in a pretty empty restaurant. We will go anywhere else next time.

Considering the word«pancakes» is in the name of the establishment, they should do a much better job of making them. My pancakes were overcooked on the outside, but undercooked on the inside. We were seated quickly, waited on quickly, but the waiter never checked on us while we were eating. Therefore, I couldn’t send the poorly cooked pancakes back, and have any expectation of eating fresh ones with the rest of my food. Disappointing visit.

Service was slow, food sat under heat lamp for 20 minutes. Bummer because I like iHop. Go to the one on Tylersville rd.

Had breakfast this morning after church. Busy and they did a nice job. I liked the fact that they had food delivered from the kitchen by runners and it arrived quicker than usual and very hot. Never understand why an empty coffee pot is on every table that they must take and fill. Only negative today was the person clearing the table spent a long time at a table right by us scraping plate onto each other and all over the table and picking it up with her hands. She put all the trash on the table and it was gross and took forever. Why not just carry it back the dish away? Why not use a bus pan? Why not do anything other than what she did? All that said food was great and so was service today.

It’s iHOP. Decent food served diner style, expect slow service at this location. There was only one server on staff at 11pm who also acted as the hostess and the cashier, possibly even part of the back of the house. Good option for a late night eat as they are open 24 hours

Always ask for Lamont. He is the BEST. He cares about what he does and it shows. He remembers every person he waits on. No joke he is that good. He is great at knowing how to up sell a person with out being fake. His care when cleaning a table is far above almost every server I’ve ever seen or met. He is an asset to this restaurant. Don’t forget, ASKFORLAMONT!

This place is a joke. We sat in the restaurant for over an hour(a half empty restaurant) and got no food. When I asked the waiter how much our drinks were because we were leaving he just said…“oh, you want to cancel… ok” and walked away. No «I’m sorry» or anything. This isn’t the first terrible experience that I’ve had at this location… so, I shouldn’t be surprised… but, I guess that’s what I get for believing in second chances.

Hope you are not in a hurry! Food was SUPER slow. Food came out barely warm. They didn’t butter my toast. They could barely spare butter for my french toast. My eggs were cold and overcooked. Pancakes with fruit were cold. Had to wait 15 minutes just to get seated and place was not full. They say they are short staffed. Now they will be short tipped also!

OK, this is not a rating for the food. For what it is, the food is a solid 3.5−4 when you take into account it’s a breakfast place. Food is inexpensive and they give you good portions. The menu changes throughout the year so there are things new to try almost every time you go in. The low rating is for the service. I am not sure we will even be back. The husband and I went a few weeks back and it was a crowded day. We watched other servers visit tables and take orders… except for ours. We almost thought about leaving but a waitress finally showed up. Drinks & food ordered, everything came as ordered, it was good. Fast forward to tonight. The hubby really wanted breakfast for dinner and we decided to venture to IHOP again. Bad idea. We walked in with another party of 2 and they were seated and another waitress came up to seat us. Perhaps the fact that the waitress that seated us was the same one that took forever on the prior visit should have been a sign. She put the menus on the table and said our waitress would be with us. We heard the 2-party seated just before us greeted by their server and put in their drink order. We waited, and waited. The other party got their drinks and put in their food order. And we waited. No one came by to get our drink or food order. We watched wait staff pass by us, but no one wanted to make eye contact so we could wave them over. The waitress that seated us disappeared to a back booth where other employees were at chatting with each other. Still nothing. Finally after waiting 15 plus minutes and seeing a waiter at the front station where the carryout station is on his cell phone we just left. I tossed the menus in front of the young man on the phone and we walked out. Maybe if you have a larger party, they pay more attention to you?

Lamont gets a five star service rating. Ok IHOP is what IHOP is I’m not rating the franchise or location here only the phenomenal service of a man that gave the five of us great joy. If they’d hire more like him the business would double revenues.

We are IHOP regulars but this location is a new one for us. We had a very personable server but everything took way tooooooo long to get to our table. The food itself was a good temperature when it got to our table but the hash browns were very, very salty. Overall we were happy with our meals and usually we have some complaints. We were greeted with happy faces and when we were leaving we had more of the same. It definitely was family friendly too. We had our 2 year old and 7 month old with us and despite the 2 year old having some terrible twoness the restaurant never seemed to notice. A definite plus!

We finally decided not to go here anymore. The pancakes are always cold, the staff looks like they just got out of bed. The place is always freezing and just not quite clean. We have been to much better IHOPs and finally decided that it was NOTWORTHCOMINGHERE.

My wife and I recently started a ‘tradition’ of, every once in a while, taking a little motorcycle trip somewhere for breakfast. I thought I’d give you my opinion of the places we visit… The IHOP is a good ‘go to favorite’. There are always lots of great choices. I had the Colorado omelet which was quite good. My wife had something that was way too sugary and chocolaty for me, but she had a smile on her face as she took the last bite. The service was great. The coffee is so-so; but it still woke me up.

They were busy when my wife and three kids arrived, but with three girls at the hostess station I was wondering why my presence was being ignored. Then a couple walked in behind me and one of the girls greeted them and asked«how many?» I spoke up and said«I have 5». All three girls looked at me like I was rude for speaking up. The food and server were great, but they really need to work on making people feel welcome as they arrive.

They get a little flustered when it’s busy but the folks here are nice. And as always get the Belgian waffles with pralines and banana’s … you won’t regret it.

Nothing spectacular, but perfectly acceptable IHOP. Just what you would expect. I went here for breakfast by myself. Attentive server, order quickly placed and delivered. I had a country omelet, which had hash browns inside the omelet. I thought this was interesting and turned out to be really pretty good. As always the portion size was ridiculous. I could have eaten ½ or maybe 2⁄3 of the order. But still good for what it is
