History
Established in 1975.
This store started out as a Plywood Minnesota and was owned by Ron Steward and Art Matthys. Eventually it became Floor to Ceiling, which is part of the Preferred Brands group. In 1998, Linda Forthmann became an owner along with Ron Steward. Finally, in 2001, Linda, her husband Charles, and son Michael became sole owners of the business. Linda had previously been a Home Interiors rep and spent many years in retail, starting out at K-Mart and eventually managing a Casual Corner women’s clothing store. Charles has 30 years sales experience with Sears. Michael had been a salesman for Fastenal before joining ownership.
