Established in 1945.

The Lindal family story is an incredible account with a homeless child from the Midwest amid a spirit and imagination to create a lasting legacy of innovation, superior quality, and customer satisfaction. Our founder, Sir Walter Lindal, held 30 patents, stretched out a dealer empire covering every hemisphere on the globe, and helped thousands of people build their dreams over an incredible 65-​year career. His dedication to creativity, quality, and artisanship, to this day, is the guiding philosophy of Lindal Custom Cedar Homes. Sir Walter’s success structurally maintained quality control over the products, process, and performance of qualified Lindal dealers. He esteemed confidence to guarantee the Lindal homes to last a lifetime; no other custom home dealer assures life warrantees. As a man ahead of his time, Sir Walter saw the need for a more efficient and aesthetic living space by becoming the first homebuilder to consider ‘GO GREEN’.

Rick, the owner of Northwest Build and Design, is a Master Builder and has built in four different countries, various parts of the U.S. and in every corner of Washington State. He is proud to own this Lindal Cedar Home dealership and has started his journey here with a boom of success. His business focusses completely on meeting every need of the clients who walk in our doors. This focus on our clients needs has made us who we are today.
