Eye Do Lashes

I’ve been looking for a good lash salon for the longest time and I’m so glad my sister in law took me here. She knew that I’d feel really comfortable right away because the owners are Filipino and they’ve been doing her lashes for over 2 years now. Gabriella and Jean Paulo are the owners and they made me feel right at home the moment Brenda introduced me to them. They asked me questions about how sensitive my eyes were to certain things, if I wore contacts or glasses so they could find the perfect set of lashes, they really made an effort to get to know me and I easily connected with them. Gabriella set me up with a pair of the natural mink lashes and was done within 2 hours. She was gentle and really took her time to place each and every strand. You can tell that they’re passionate about their business and really care about all of their customers. I’m definitely going back in a couple weeks for a touch up and I don’t plan to look anywhere else!

I went here to get eyelash extensions and it was so much more. The whole experience was just amazing. Jean-​Paulo is very professional and efficient. I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep. When Jean-​Paulo woke me up OMG!!! My lashes looked amazing. I have had them done before and my eyes watered excessively the whole time I was having them done. Not this time I will defiantly be going back… I made my appt for my fill before I left… and I highly recommend this eyelash spa…

Before I explain my experience I want to emphasize that everyone’s body is different and everyone’s eyes may or may not react in favor of eyelash extensions. Regardless of the outcome, it was still a self made decision to get them done.
I personally have sensitive eyes that are very dry. I had eyelash extensions done years ago but never kept up with them because I moved away. Coming back to WA I found the great reviews about Eye Do Lashes and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Jean-​Paulo is very detail oriented and does not let you leave without satisfaction. He explains every step of the procedure as he works on your eyes as you will be required to keep them shut for a long period of time. Not only was Jean-​Paulo thorough, but he managed to finish my lashes with good time.
I left with a little redness in one of my eyes and was advised to apply drops of Visine to hopefully take care of it. After 2 days the redness was still apparent and Jean-​Paulo insisted I come back for him to take a look before I decided to see a specialist. My eye turned out to be perfectly fine after the 3^rd day but Jean-​Paulo followed up with me every morning until then to see how I was doing. I would not give this salon anything less than 5 stars.

I went to this place strictly based upon Unilocal reviews. I got my first eyelash extensions done in Utah, the Capitol of the eyelash extension world, at the end of February. I removed the Utah extensions too early and ripped out a bunch of my own eyelashes. I was in a panic to have them back and got an appointment here the same day I called, which I was so thankful for. I showed him a picture of my Utah extensions hoping to get similar, if not the same, results. The before and after pictures were impressive with my eyes closed and I was so thrilled to just have any eyelashes back I left a hefty tip. I followed the aftercare instructions to a t, but once I got home and really looked at my eyelashes when my eyes were open I was more and more disappointed. The left side had lashes pointing down, while the right side had lashes pointing up and began clumping in sections. I went in after around 9 or 10 days due to the clumping ready to get an entire full set again, but he offered to fix them for free, which was great. The fix did improve the clumping but my lashes were still pointing in every direction. I found out the specific type and curl of lashes I had in Utah and even showed him the actual lashes I had fished out of the garbage as a point of reference but he seemed almost angry at me pulling them out of the bag I had kept them in. Entirely frustrated, I made an appointment at another place. It took over 2 hours to fix the damage he had done to my lashes. Apparently my lashes had been glued to each other, which makes no sense but it was true. Although my lashes are thinner now due to the pulling out I had done originally, they are now on their way to being back to Utah form. I would never recommend to anyone to go here or go back to this place myself. I am giving one star for availability of getting in for an appointment the same day I needed to, for the explanation of the process itself, and handy aftercare instructions provided. Otherwise I would give this place zero stars. Either my experience was a freak incident or others who have rated it higher have just been luckier than I was. I’m not sure.

OMG my first time i get and eyelash extensions and wow love this place Gabrielle did a great job this place is so nice and quiet. I will definitely come back.

As a first time eyelash extension client, I wasn’t sure what to expect or what the result would be. I was referred to Eye Do from a friend who previously got hers done here and liked it.
I was pleasantly surprised! Because your eyes are closed the whole time, there can a lot of «I wonder what they’re doing now?» thoughts. Jean Paulo explained EVERYTHING before, during and after the application of my new extensions. I opted for the Mink Lashes & now I know I made the right choice. I would definitely come back & suggest to friends.
I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars but there are no half stars :(
I took away half a star because my right eye is slightly fuller looking than my left eye. But that would not stop me from going back.

Fabulous experience with a reasonable price. It was a comfortable environment and the results were outstanding! Quite pleased with this salon, and of course I will be recommending people to come in!

Love the look! Very natural looking with a wow factor! Jean-​Paolo is very welcoming and accommodating. There was no pressure to purchase extras; just recommendations. The salon looks shabby on the outside but is very nice inside. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the Christian music that was playing. I’d rather have relaxing spa type music personally. Overall, great experience. I recommend.

I went in a few days ago and got my set of beautiful lashes! The environment is very relaxing! It was a great experience with calming music and a trickling waterfall to help you doze off. The process took about an hour and a half. When I opened my eyes to see my lashes I was amazed. They are beautiful! I’ve already received many compliments on them! My eyes were a little red and watery for about 15 minutes after, but I think it was because they had been shut for so long and it was a bright day outside. They look great now and I definitely recommend this place!

Accompanied my girlfriend to another one of her primping/​grooming appointments. It seems like that’s all I do now-​a-​days. Her teenage daughter also came along for a fill. The salon is at a very convenient location; right off State St. in Marysville. We were promptly greeted upon arrival. Let me note here that we were about 20 mins late due to unanticipated traffic. Who knew hundreds of people would start a migration to Marysville at 5pm on a Friday? Because of how late we were in arrival, we thought for sure we would be turned away and have to reschedule. To my girlfriend’s delight, Jean Paulo and his wife Gabrielle were willing to stay late to accommodate us.
Jean Paulo and Gabbie seemed really knowledgable about lashes… who knew there was so much to know about lashes? Guess I need to get out more. Jean Paulo took the time to explained every step of the process and every product used. He provided a consultation to identify what type of lash, the amount of curl, and the length desired. Jean Paulo was so thorough in his initial examination, he inspected with magnifying lenses and took photos to show the lashes before service, during the process, and the beautiful results after he finished.
I don’t know all the technical stuff but I can say that both girlfriend and her daughter left very pleased with the results. From my perspective, both sets of lashes looked lovely.
If you’re looking for true lash professionals who know their trade well and can provide excellent service, make sure you pay Jean Paulo and his wife Gabbie a visit.

Doing another review as I do not understand why there are such unnecessary rude comments. Every single appointment that I have been to has not failed! I have VERY thin, short, fragile lashes from chemotherapy. but I come back with amazing & natural looking lashes! I have been going here for almost 2 years and I’ve tried different places because of availability… but I always come back here because I have no complaints! Every single time, he explains what he is doing. The ladies that are not satisfied… I think are hard to please & don’t follow after care instructions OR COULD POSSIBLY BE COMPETITORS BAD TALKING THIS AMAZING SALON THAT CARE FOR THEIR PEOPLE! So sad, so pathetic & so unprofessional!
Jean Paulo – these bad comments shouldn’t effect your business as you obviously have good clientele FOR A REASON! Keep doing what you’re doing, don’t change anything! People are hard to please… can’t please everyone. There’s always those sour lemons! Awesome find! It’s a completely relaxing spa experience! Heated beds to lay on with blankets, soothing music and a waterfall to help you relax while they work their magic. My lashes look extraordinary!!! I was so surprised just how pretty they are! Jean Paulo went over everything in advance, was unbelievably nice and professional and thorough. I left extremely satisfied and will recommend Eye Do Lashes to everyone!

They are definitely the best! I feel beautiful every time I leave. They play relaxing, inspirational music and I fall asleep every time I get my lashes done. They make you feel very comfortable and welcomed. I had my lashes done elsewhere and I thought part of the process was discomfort, but after going to eye do lashes I found that it was much easier and painless! They are very gentle and make me feel at ease.

To the business owner, I find it incredibly unprofessional that you can’t find me on your list of clients. I came in to get this service on January 15,2013, with my daughter and a friend. I regret not thinking to take a photo of my sty and making a copy of my eye drop prescription to present to you as evidence. I don’t appreciate the defensive attitude and accusing me of providing false information. I wouldn’t waste my time creating a Unilocal account to specially review this place if I felt like lying about it. Maybe you were tired since I was the last costumer of the day, maybe not everyone has the same experience as me. None the less I am changing my 2 star review to 1 star. You’ll have to excuse me for taking a month to reply as I do have a child that requires my attention.

I absolutely love coming here. Jean Paulo and his Wife, Gabby, do an excellent job with eye lashes. My brown eyes pop so much more than makeup would and it’s all because of their great work!

I have been a client of Eye Do Lashes for almost 2 years. I have always been 100% satisfied. They have always treated me like family too. Never ever has there been a raised voice between Husband and Wife. They always act professional and are more than pleasant to be around.
