Americas Best Value Inn

The guy at the front desk was a completely out of line. I called the front desk to ask him to connect me to a room so I could contact a client to re-​schedule our home visit appointment and he felt it necessary to ask me why I had called twice. rude much… so I ended up going to the hotel to speak with my client and upon asking him if she was there he said that he was not allowed to disclose that, which i completely understand confidentiality reasons… so I went to her room and next thing I know, he was asking the mothers son who i was and if the ladies son had knew me, and then pleads to ask for my ID. In all honesty, it was none of his business who i was or why i was there if its a public place to stay right??? Bad move on his part

Don’t ever stay here again .lady in front desk was very rude. Room is making noises when you turn.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over the weekend for our one year anniversary.
Let me start this review by telling you our experience checking in. The woman who checked us in was extremely rude to us, gave us dirty looks, and judged us for being a younger couple.
Then we finally got into our room and find the bathroom to be in really bad shape (damage to the roof & shower)
it had a very intense chemical smell upon entry, and when my girlfriend tried to use a hand towel to dry her hands the towel rack collapsed. It had clearly been broken before and the owners just rigged it to LOOK presentable. Also the door was clearly kicked open at one point seeing as the door isn’t on the hinges properly. Not to mention, we open the fridge and find leftover food from another guest. I personally do not want vegetable stir fry, thanks.
All in all it’s not worth the $ 150 I spent to stay here.
My advice is to avoid this place at all costs unless you like
*rude management
*broken/​damaged objects
*chemical smells
*loud obnoxious vehicles
*terrible wifi
the only plus of this place is the bed.

The owner/​manager was very kind. He let us park our trailer in the parking lot instead of having to park it on the street which would have been less secure. Rooms are clean but nothing special.

Came across this place while visiting family. It’s 100% better than the other place.*which will be nameless* that I stayed before. This place is located around several places to eat. The room is nothing special. but it’s clean and safe.

Americas best? Is that a joke. Maybe I’m spoiled living in nevada where you can stay in a nice hotel without dropping over $ 70 but cmon now. Soft water, midget towels, soap and shampoo dispensers, 17″ TV’s, coffee maker didn’t work, one plastic up for a room with double beds… Black hair on shower towels… Cmon kadafee, you’re making hand over fist in marysville charging what you are, can’t swing for regular sized non hairy towels. As usual you’d walk into the lobby and the smell of curry is overwhelming at 8pm… How do you complete every stereotype and not care? Lesson learned, next time I’ll drive back home instead of stayin in marysville, yuba shitty, or oroville. Thank god I live in Nevada. On the plus side, floors in rooms where a wood floor looking tile, and there is a continental breakfast and swimming pool.

I’ve stayed there twice now. If you’re looking for a clean, simple room for a reasonable price, this is it. I’ll be back. Convenient, always friendly.

I was very pleased with my one night here. I’ve recently been ponying up for Best Western on car trips, figuring I won’t have unpleasant surprises to deal with in a new town. But when I planned for Marysville, this place was more than $ 30 less, and gets a lot of good reviews on TripAdvisor (I didn’t check Unilocal), so I tried it. You wouldn’t think you’re in a BW: you won’t find an imitation silk cummerbund laid across the bedspread. But my room was immaculate, with practical, newish furniture and basic but perfectly adequate amenities. The mattress was a bit squishy but not terrible, and I slept well. One warning, though: the «continental breakfast» is the *barest* minimum. But the room itself was great, the management was courteous and friendly, and I’ll stay here next time I’m in Marysville. Apart from the quibbles I noted, I’d call this a budget motel done well.

I have stayed at this location about a year and a half ago. Apparently ownership has changed hands or they no longer care to take care of the place. We entered our room and were immediately disgusted. The walls, chairs, lamps, phone, wood floors, microwave exterior, towels, and tv were filthy. We were in a hurry to get to a concert and I needed to jump in the shower. I pulled the floor towel down to use for the shower, but the towel was soiled brown with dirt! We called the front desk and requested a new room. At first they told us there were no other rooms. After discussion amongst themselves they took us upstairs to look at another room. It was not ideal, but was a little better than the first room. As we were leaving to head to the concert, my friend used the bathroom. She walked out and informed me the toilet was broken! We didn’t have time to deal with this as we had to get to the show. After arriving back from the show, we went to bed and discovered it was very broken down. We slept on springs. Ouch! When I checked out in the morning, I asked for a copy of my receipt. He advised me he had already given me one and could not produce another. REALLY?!? I thanked them for changing our room and advised them the toilet was broken. She just laughed and smirked. NEVER again will I stay there.

Pleasant looking outside, pleasant help at the desk but the room was not pleasant. One light didnt work at all, another one flickered. The bathroom door had a hole in it where someone had kicked it open. The tissue holder had 1 tissue in it. There were dark spots on the carpet and it was not clean. The front door had daylight showing around it and was loose. It had been kicked in at one time too because one of the locks were broken.
The only good thing was the bed, super comfy!

Only plus thing is they allow pets. But everything is kind of dingy, but liveable. Uncomfortable neighborhood.

I travel for my job and stayed in America’s Best Value Inn for 3 months. I have no issue with the location and it’s close to work. Most of all, it’s pet friendly which is a plus for me. I normally stay in motel 6 but it isn’t always economic and no microwave/​fridge (Must pay extra). Other pet friendly hotels charge more for the pet. I’d recommend Best Value Inn.
