I wouldn’t rent from this agency ever again! Look them up on BBB rating F. overcharged for moving out and kept $ 1,000. Dollars of our deposit even after having it cleaned professionally and the carpets done to. My recommendations is to run!!!

I have a very strong message of caution to anyone considering renting a property managed by Srebrow. I merely helped my former wife to rent a property managed by Srebrow by co-signing the lease — which Srebrow required although my former wife had more than enough income and assets to pay rent. My wife then lived in the property for two years and I had no connection with the property as it was never my legal address and I also had no bank or credit card accounts linked to the address. About six months after my wife moved out, however, I started receiving notices to my current address that credit cards were being opened up in my name using the address of the property rented by my former wife. Apparently someone in Srebrow’s offices was selling(or using) client’s personal identification information for identity theft. In case you have never been a victim of identity theft, it has taken me over 20 hours of time trying to figure out what accounts had been opened in my name — and obviously no payments were ever made — and then clearing up my credit report with the credit reporting agencies. One other aspect of identity theft is there is now a «credit freeze» on my credit reporting file which alerts credit issuers to not open up any new accounts under my name without checking with me first. There is another unfortunate side affect of the credit freeze, however, that I found out this week which is that I cannot now even up a new bank account in my own name given that my credit file is not accessible for review by any financial institutions. As you can imagine, all of this has been a nightmare and a huge use of my time. To add insult to injury, however, the owner of Srebrow(Liliana Srebrow) was highly insulted when I merely tried to let her know that one of her employees was engaged in identity theft with client information. The irresponsible behavior was not limited to my case of identity theft, however, as Srebrow also resigned as property manager for the property my former wife had rented in the middle of when she was moving out. My former wife then had to fight with the new property manager to get her security deposit back as Srebrow wouldn’t provide any records to the new property manager.

We have rented a property through Srebrow for the last 2 years and we could not be more satisfied. They are a pleasure to have as landlords and anything that we have ever needed, they came out to fix right away. I would love to rent from them longer, but we decided to buy a house, but if we decide to rent our house out, we will have them as property managers. Some of the nicest people we have met!
