Seven Bridges Moving

I’ve used movers lots of times, and I’ve always had a so-​so experience. However, these guys are great! Quick, efficient, to the point, friendly, everything you’d want in a moving business. Oh, and the prices are by far the most reasonable I’ve seen to date. 5 stars all the way, will use every time from here on out.

I had their help when I moved a short distance in Martinez. George packed up the apartment efficiently and was very professional, and cheerful. His attitude was «I’m here to help you».
Then we had George and «the other Matt» move our things. Once again they were efficient, professional, and cheerful. Nothing was damaged and I am glad because I have several family heirlooms that mean a lot to me! These guys were the best! I have nothing negative to say!

I was in the middle of moving myself and my helper smashed his finger before we attempted the fridge. I called Seven Bridges based on their reviews and they really lived up to all those stars. First of all they were able to help that afternoon and better yet, at a reasonable price! They were professional, prompt and friendly, and the job turned into a real difficult one at the new place. Thank God I wasn’t trying to do that on my own! The job ran about an hour longer and they worked their butts off, but they stayed on it without a single complaint. I highly recommend Seven Bridges and can’t thank them enough!

I never used professional movers before. These guys were great. I was moving from Vacaville to Walnut Creek. Matt told me on the phone everything that I needed to know to get ready. The two guys that he sent were both personable and professional. They got everything loaded quickly and were very helpful on the other end where I had to work out where everything was going to go. I ended up using less time then their 5 hour minimum but it was worth every penny.

We moved about two months ago and hired Seven Bridges Moving. This is the first time that we have used a moving company. It was a great experience. Matt, the owner was very helpful and honest. I explained to him that we needed movers for the big items, such as washer & dryer, tv’s, dressers, beds etc. Some heavy boxes were also moved. He explained the process and how many movers were needed depending the items; how big the house. The mover were Matt (not the owner) and Sergio. They were great. They moved everything fast and carefully.
After we moved, a day or two, Matt the owner of the business called to inform me that that I was overcharged by $ 10.00. He offered to drop off by my house since he lived near the area. It was only $ 10.00 and I would have never known, but that is not the type of business he runs.
I highly recommend this company. I think the fee for moving is reasonable and the quality of work is great!

Moving pretty much sucks, but Seven Bridges made it a painless experience from the time they started from the time they finished it was a good job. The team of Matt (not the owner) & Jorge was great those 2 guys are good, fast & efficient. Also friendly & easy to talk to. Hope we dont have to move any time soon :) but if we have to use anybody in the future it will be Seven Bridges. Even Matt (the owner) gave back to my wife a refund as he said we were charged a little over what we actually paid & he even dropped it off in our mail box himself so kudos for that, what more can you ask for.

I must admit every time I’ve hired movers, I’ve had some minor complaint. Be that the movers were out of shape, generally not healthy looking, and took their time. To guys who show up looking as if they just spent a few years with Andy Dufresne, Red, Brooks, and the gang over at Shawshank, soap still tied to their ankles, and smelling like the poop tube they climbed 100 yards down to escape!
Either way, there was something that was just not 100% if I am to be completely honest.
However, to my surprise, Seven Bridges pretty much delivered the best moving experience I’ve personally had. Professional movers, who waste no time, get the job done safely, and without damaging your stuff. These guys did that and more. Not only did they move me in about 4 hours, they did it without any issues.
The team showed up on time and executed the move right away. They installed padding on all doors, placed runners on the carpet, and took extremely great care with all my stuff. To boot, these guys were extremely easy going, fun to chat with, and seemed to honestly love their job. Which is huge as it made for an extremely positive moving experience. Their rates were right in par with other local as well as national moving companies.
The truck was perfect, they had just about every tool and trick to make the move easy and quick. Overall I am very satisfied with their service and will not hesitate to call them for my next move.
As far as premoving quotes and so forth, it was done very nicely. I spent time with the Owner on the phone and we literally walked room to room to best put together a quote/​idea of the size of the move. It was very painless. I know some companies require a physical visit, which is understandable if I was moving a castle, but for a simple move I thought it was a bit much. However, again, it was extremely easy and customer service here is truly top notch!
Highly recommended!

Seriously, after careful consideration I really can’t come up with a time I have been more satisfied with a service.
I had never hired a moving company before, I was always a U-​Haul and recruit my friends sort of guy. I had friends and family members who had horrible experiences with movers. But I couldn’t recruit people around the holidays.
First contact was with Matt, who runs the business, and right off they made a good impression. Of all the highly rated Unilocal movers Matt was the only person who also mentioned moving insurance, both the insurance you get for free and the additional insurance you could buy. I didn’t buy the extra insurance but the way he educated me on my options wreaked of professionalism.
On the Day of the move my two Movers Glen and Jorge arrived.
They were Friendly
They were Courteous
They were machines (My move took 5 hours, and neither guy ever so much as took a break, seriously They were moving HEAVY stuff up and down stairs with a work effort you only see in Robots or perhaps carpenter ants. Seriously? These guys were MACHINES!”
And Maybe most importantly they were CAREFUL. I had some Antique screens that they took the extra time to individually wrap the panels to make sure they didn’t get scratched during the move. I wouldn’t have bothered but these guys were more concerned with my stuff than I was.

Used 7 Bridges and would Highly recommend them! Matt and his guys run a tight ship — efficient, fast, clean, organized, great communicate and honest! The 4 guys that did the actual moving were polite, accommodating, personable and really good at the whole process. Great Team Work!

From the very first phone call all the way to the moment the movers said goodbye, our moving experience was A+ from start to finish. Courteous, cautious and competitively priced, Seven Bridges Moving is my first choice when I need professional movers in the East Bay.

From my first contact with Matt of Seven Bridges, I was impressed. He asked detailed and specific questions about the three locations I needed pick-​ups from. (The other company I spoke with seemed almost irritated when I attemped to explain the logistics of the multiple site load-​in, stair cases, etc. ‘You don’t have to worry– we charge by the hour’ — the Other Guy tossed off.)
Matt DID care about my crazy logistics– he put together a detailed quote, explained drive times, and set a window for expected high and low end of job time.
Matt google-​mapped my locations and did a verbal walkthrough of the various sites with me.
Oh. Did I mention. I was booking on Friday… for a Sunday move? These guys made it happen.
Anthony and Jorge were punctual, professional, and acted with speed, grace, and efficiency. (I am a super OCD packer… I stretch wrap everything… I like to think my decent packing skills make up for my otherwise pain-​in-​the-​ass logistics.)
These guys had me scrambling to keep up with them. (All I had to do was unlock storage units, try to stay out of the way, etc.)
I will never, ever, move WITHOUT Seven Bridges again. Awesome service, start to finish.

I hired Seven Bridges Moving for my cross-​town move. I needed about twelve very large pieces of furniture moved including a baby-​grand piano. Seven Bridges advertises themselves as specialists in piano moving and they are located nearby in Martinez so I gave them a call. I had also called two other movers who only moved pianos and all of the quotes I got were in the $ 450 to $ 500 range for the piano alone. Matt, who I believe is the owner of Seven Bridges, gave me the option of doing what he called a half-​day move which is a 4-​hour minimum hire at $ 700. They would move everything they could within that time window.
On the appointed day three fast and friendly movers — Rubin, Jose and Glenn, showed up in a large truck. They loaded up their truck with my piano, king bed, two other beds and other items and then unloaded and reassembled everything in the new house in just under 4 hours. So for $ 700 plus tips Seven Bridges moved not just my piano but about a dozen other large items, what a bargain!
I did not need small items packed and moved so I cannot comment on their ability to handle this aspect of a move but Seven Bridges was outstanding moving my piano and other heavy and bulky furniture. Seven Bridges earned a 5-​star rating in my view!

I’ve worked with Matt and the Seven Bridges Moving family for many years in the residential building industry. Matt initially started working for us when another moving company literally held the homeowners furniture hostage for more money! It was an eye opener to say the least on the unscrupulous practices by some in this industry. Seven Bridges has since been the «go to» movers for not only our homeowners needs, but for any situation that we needed in the office. His team is professional and I never worry about the cost or quality of their services. I have had family members hire his services and they agree wholeheartedly. Well done!

I only needed a large dining room table moved. But I needed it moved at the last minute. Other movers wouldn’t help me because I didn’t meet their minimum. Not only did Matt help me, but he fit me in at the last minute, charged a totally reasonable price AND moved a huge box the leaves came in without charging me more. He also helped me over furniture in my apartment to fit the new table. Honestly, these guys could have been nicer or more efficient!

If you need movers — hire these guys! Great, reliable, on time, efficient, helpful, hard-​working … can’t say enough. From booking with Matt at the start, to the movers who came to our home last weeked … GREAT, I highly recommend them!

We had title issues and had to reschedule at the last minute. Matt was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The guys that actually moved us were really friendly and helpful as well.
My sister in law also used them when she moved and she was impressed with them too.

Matt was super flexible in scheduling our on again, off again, last minute move that consisted off all furniture, appliances and outdoor items like a basketball hoop and a big hammock stand — no boxes. We moved in 2 phases (which I don’t recommend) so we’d moved a lot of our stuff ourselves and left behind the essentials that were staging our old house. Seven Bridges handled the 2^nd part of the move when our house sold (woohoo!).
I provided Matt with a list of what was left and he estimated the truck size and amount of manpower necessary. There was a 4 hour minimum and we just hit that mark. The 2 guys who moved us were nice, very professional and tidy, and careful with our stuff. They took apart all the beds, unhooked the washing machine/​dryer and refrigerator — and then set it all up again at the other end, including switching out the refrigerator that was already at the new house for our old one.
I thought the price was really reasonable and they provided a level of «full service» that I appreciated. The only minor complaint I have is that something isn’t quite right about the ice machine connection, as it’s making «wimpy,» melts instantly ice instead of nice solid ice like before. I’m sure it’ll just take an adjustment… we just haven’t had a chance to catch our breathe and investigate yet.
