This place royally blows. I’m not even going to comment on the people who work there, I mean, they sell pumpkins for a living. I bet the job fair for that position is slim pickings. We went there today and everything was closed(couldn’t go on rides or pet a pony until 4pm. I guess they have their reasons but they certainly didn’t care to explain why — just a rude we are closed attitude as they continued to do nothing. The pumpkin selection was weak too. Anyway, we already bought our pumpkins from a place in half moon bay(you can pet the animals whenever you want during their business hours. Who would have thought?!) Yeesh.

I was traumatized by this place last year. I never wrote a Unilocal about it but everytime I see this place and drive by it, I get a sour stomach. The ladies that were working at this place last year were horrible. They completely disrespected me and would not give me my money back. The teenager that was working there told me that my son could not sit on the step of one of the balloons, 40 seconds after we entered. I was disgusted by her snotty attitude. I wanted to leave and asked for my money back. They would not give it back to me. I told her that I had just walked into the place and was yelled at and now I want my money back. Their customer service skills was not sufficient for my money to be given away. The old lady in the front continued to haggle me and yell at me in front of my children saying that she would give me nothing back. She then reasoned with me after speaking to her boss and offered to give me half of my money back. I said no. I wanted a refund. She continued to haggle me. I was so embarrassed by this abusive treatment, I left. I hope that the two girls that were there last year are not there this year. Truly hope that no one has to go through what I went through last year. I am still pretty upset. The one on Monument, I have experienced, was wayyy better. The people are very welcoming and considerate. They have never given me any problems.

This is where I go to get organic family grown trees! Great selection! I like lots of decorations on my tree. :)

Since having my own humble abode we have gotten our trees from ABC every year. That’s roughly 10 years or trees! But I will say there are some years we don’t get a tree because we travel. I’m not picky with my trees. I dont mind lopsided or kind of scraggly. Their prices are fine. I’m not looking for a deal. Plus we don’t get a big tree because we don’t have the room anyway. I also really like their tree stands. We have had really bad luck in the past with our own tree stands. When I buy one from them we never have a problem. It’s worth buying a stand by them. The employees are always helpful and nice. To many more years of Christmas memories.

We come to ABC Tree Farms for our yearly Christmas tree. This year was much better then last year on the customer service side of it all. This year we decided to go a little smaller and a little cheaper so we went for the discount trees which still aren’t half bad. The man helping us with our tree was Spencer from Oregon. I was talking with him as he set tree up on the car and it was like talking with a friend I’ve known for years. If all the employees that worked here had this much personality, this place would be perfect. They have a great selection of trees here. Everything from very tall«Griswald family style» trees to itty bitty 3 foot trees. They have trees with fake snow already applied to them, or you can buy the canned snow yourself and do it right at home. The trees all look to be in very decent shape. Even the discount trees. Yes our tree may be leaning more to one side then the other, but overall it’s still a very good tree. Not much of a tree person? No worries. They sell Christmas wreath’s right at the cashier’s counter. Out of all the tree lots to come to for Christmas, we stick with ABC because they have the best selection around.

Nine months pregnant and was sitting in the shade cause it’s 90 degrees out today. A lady that worked here asked me to move cause the chairs that I was sittin in were for kids.(Regular sized chairs and there was like 15 of them available). Which is fine except there was no other chairs n the shade. There were a few hay bails that were located in shade but they were all taken. I don’t usually expect special treatment cause I’m pregnant. But really

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I got a medium and small pumpkin both for $ 12. Inflatable rides are $ 10 for 30 minutes and $ 15 for an hour. There’s a pony ride available for $ 6. My only complaint is the sun but no one can control that. I’ll be back for my Xmas tree too :)

My daughter loves coming here and bouncing! The staff are very nice and accommodating and they have coupons and deals every day to help save a dollar for the people that come often! Only thing is I wish there were more overhangs during the day for the parents to sit out of the sun, but I’ve learned to come around evening time and the weather is perfect! As long as my daughter if having fun, that’s what matters! ;)

I’ve been a very loyal customer to ABC for my Christmas tree for many years now, even when I moved to away from Martinez, and they relocated away from their standard near-Walmart location. I was, and remain, happy to offer my loyalty to a local company. They have a good selection of trees, with a variation of breeds and every size from Charlie Brown to Shopping Mall to choose from. Their employees are also very helpful, and will pull trees out for you to check out from all sides. Included in your tree’s cost is their assistance carrying the tree to your car and tying it down securely with twine. Love it! My 2013 tree pickup was a bit of a disappointment because once we selected our tree, our helper said he would take our tree to receive a fresh cut and clean up the bottom branches, then meet us at our car. I paid no problem with our Living Social voucher, and the tree was tied securely to the car. When we got home though, it was very apparent the fresh cut was the only thing we got, low branches were everywhere, and we had to take a hacksaw to the small branches to make the tree presentable for… well, presents! I suppose it is our fault for not accompanying him and offering guidance on which low branches should go, but I’m sure they’ve done this a thousand times and should have some idea what a standard tree holder can accomodate. ABC Tree Farms will keep my loyalty in 2014, I will just take this experience as a lesson learned.

My view on a «traveling pumpkin patch» is «you get what you pay for», «it is what it is». The money you’ll pay for a pumpkin is worth the price. Think about it, there is like 6 air jumpers/bounce houses, few barn animals to gawk at, AND you get a pumpkin for an additional price. Kids get to play and get a pumpkin. Yes the prices are a bit higher but its the«it is what it is» factor. Customer service is definitely not their strong hold, but there are people there if you have questions. Porta Potties and a porta sink there to clean up.

I tried to buy a tree and the lady at the check out lied about my coupon! She said I needed a bar code but she just didn’t want to take the time to do it because there was a line! Very unprofessional. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Picking out a Christmas tree is supposed to be fun and it turned out horrible. Can’t believe the staff.
