It’s a moderately intense 1.0mi hike to the summit. I found out about this after my sister invited the family out to the monthly Super Moon hike! Our guides were enthusiastic and gave short history lessons about John Muir and his family. In the end, the guides give kids Oreos so they can take a bite out of the cookie to match our view of the moon. There is also a stellar view of the hills and Mt. Diablo.
