We would love to meet and care for your cat or dog as well as birds, hamsters, rabbits, fish and even turtles. If you live in an area that allows chickens or other small critters– we will feed and water them too!

Nyla is the most reliable and conscientious person in the pet sitting business. She has been taking care of my son’s cat off and on for the past year or so. She always does the little extras, like vacuuming up the kitty litter around the box, bringing toys for Leo, etc. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Nyla sat for our dog, Sophie for two weeks. She was great. She and Sophie got along well and Sophie was great when we returned home. Sophie had stayed at a kennel when we traveled, but she was always a nervous wreck when we returned home. It is so much better to have a home sitter than storing your dog at a kennel.

I have had Nyla taking care of my pets for a year now and I couldn’t be happier! When I first met Nyla, she was extremely organized and took notes on everything that needed to be taken care of… and I have 4 dogs, two cats and an African Grey! Her rates are extremely fair, she always texts me updates about my fur babies, and in addition she is very kind and helpful. Nyla always does more than expected… once when I forgot to bring out more tennis balls for my lab to play with, she bought one for her so she would have something to play. She also brushes my kitties who always seem to have mulch stuck to their coats. All my babies are completely happy when I arrive home… which makes me very happy of course!

I can’t speak highly enough of Nyla’s service. She took maticulous notes on how we care for our two greyhounds and ensured they were taken care of in our absence. She walked them better than we do and they always perk up when they see her now!
Nyla goes the extra mile as well. One time when we were on a trip our house got teepeed. Nyla picked up the toilet paper from the yard and put it out of site in bags before we got home! Wow!!! What a considerate thing to do that was certainly not in our agreement. I can’t speak highly enough of her love and care for animals and how great she is to work with.

I have known Nyla Burt Heeder for many years. Not only is she is a good friend, but she is also a very conscientious and caring pet sitter. She has taken care of my six year old golden retriever many times while I was away and I find my dog to be very happy when I return home. That is a sign that she has been well taken care of while I was gone. She goes above and beyond what she is asked to do. I highly recommend Nyla to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She also leaves detailed notes of what she has done while you are away.
