History

Established in 1990.

My first practice was in Sacramento, and moved with me to Contra Costa county in 1994. I started in Concord and moved to Pleasant Hill then to Martinez. I had satellite offices in San Ramon, and continued to go weekly to Sacramento to see patients, for a few years.

I always wanted to be a doctor, even as a kid, but found that I didn’t want to be an MD. I was lost for many years until I heard about Homeopathy and Swedish massage. At that point I went to massage school and ended up working at the Naturopathic College in Portland, Oregon. Then I knew exactly what I wanted to do, but NCNM was not accredited (at the time), so I decided to go to Chiropractic College then transfer credits to Naturopathic College and finish both medical programs.

That was almost 30 years ago — since then I have had the great privilege of practicing as a Chiropractic and Naturopathic doctor in Oregon and California. I also was privileged to teach health education classes at Las Positas College, and through Kaiser Permanente (Stress Management, Assertiveness and Insomnia). It has been a great ride!
