Chris was recommended to us by Friedmans Appliance, and was a pleasure to work with: responsive, communicative and reasonably priced. He removed an old built-​in refrigerator, coordinated the construction of some custom cabinetry, and installed it along with a new, smaller refrigerator which also required moving some electrical and water lines. It was a pretty small job overall but he never hesitated to get it done. We will definitely be going back to him when we need more extensive bathroom and kitchen remodeling.

Surprise, surprise! After leaving three messages, Dobson doesn’t have the professionalism to return the calls, offer to redo the job properly, or even to apologize. Wow. What sort of business chooses to ignore it’s messages, and rather than deal with an unsatisfied customer, just hides behind a message machine? A pretty unprofessional business, in my opinion. I gave them $ 175 to do a job. They did it poorly, I complain, and that’s where it ends– no response, no effort to redo the job, no attempt to apologize. Wow.

They installed a dishwasher at our house. Nicole made an extra effort to help us get it installed in time. Extremely professional and I would use them again in a heartbeat (actually I will be doing so shortly)

Chris Dobson is the most professional contractor I have dealt with since moving to Oakland
almost 2 years ago. His company is a Certified Installer for Wolf Subzero company.
I ordered a range from a store in Concord that promised delivery in 2 weeks. That did not happen. When I called to speak to the salesman at the end of the 2^nd week, the man who answered told me the salesman was on vacation. I asked for the manager. He said either he or the manager would call me by the end of the day. That did not happen. The following week I called the salesman who promised he would call the distributor & call me back. That did not happen. Unbelievably frustrated I called the installer Chris Dobson. He called the dealer & the distributor. He kept me informed as he worked out the problem & had my Range delivered & installed the next day!
His crew did a great job. I have remodeled a lot of kitchens & these people did the best job of
installation I ever experienced. I highly recommend Chris Dobson & his well trained crew.

I went and bought some new appliances for my kitchen remodel and could not figure out who to use to install these things. I had a friend who recommended this guy Chris from Dobson Construction to help do my kitchen installs. When it comes to contractors it is really hard to find someone that can A. get the job done really well and B. someone you feel comfortable with inside your house for an extended period of time. Well when Chris showed up to my house i was impressed with the way he handled himself, he was clean and knew an awful lot about what he was doing. I was so happy with the way he installed all my appliances I had him re model my bathroom as well. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone to do a great job for an affordable price.
