Just recently moved to the area and was looking for a great Mexican food place for quick to go orders. Cinco de Mayo is one of the best hands down due to their portions and the pricing of their excellent food. My three way combo of a Beef taco, Enchiladas and tamales and beans and rice were more than enough and my girl friends Carne Asada burrito was huge and packed with tons of meat and flavor. This place is a must try for all foodies with big taste of Mexican cuisine.

I usually get my vegetarian burrito from a restaurant only 1 mile away from me, but I was not enjoying it as much as I use to mainly because there started to be way too much rice and not enough lettuce, sour cream or guacamole. I decided to try Cino De Mayo tonight to see how well they throw together a vegetarian burrito and I enjoyed it more than my usual spot. I did get a nice beans to rice ratio and the lettuce and sour cream were very present, except I didn’t get very much cheese and couldn’t find the guacamole, but all in all it was better than what I usually get and will try again on a different night to see if someone will give a girl a spot more cheese and add the guac!

Great find of take out place! Loved everything we tried and we literally got almost one of everything! They offer you chips and salsa while you wait and they have a option of 4 different salsas to pick from. Will defiantly be going back.

Best deal. Good prices for good food. Favorite burrito. Good ambience for a taqueria but wish they had not replaced all most all of the booths. Booths are so much better(notice how they fill first) sitting at the table and chairs is like sitting at home in the kitchen.

Cinco has consistantly good food. At my house when I have a group of hungry teenagers or even just mine and don’t want to cook we get tacos by the dozen. Done! Everyone is happy. I have also had the shrimp burrito, it was large and very generous with the shrimp. Chili Relleno is on point too. The taco salad was just okay, but I am usually disappointed with taco salas from everywhere else too. The salsas are terrific. The location on Pacheco has mild, verde(green), and super hot. Oddly enough the store up on Pine skipped the verde all together which is a bummer because it is my husbands favorite. This past June they catered my sons graduation party. They were easy to deal with throughout ordering, then changing my order and in the end had it right and on time. The dining room isn’t fancy, but we prefer to-go anyways.

One of my favorite Mexican Restaurants! This and Portomex in Richmond. You cannot beat their crispy Chicken Tacos nor their Bean, cheese and Hot sauce burritos. I really like their red salsa and their sopes too. Service is great. You should definitely eat here. Make sure you go to the one on Pacheco Blvd, it is by far the best Cinco de Mayo in the Bay!

Garbage! If the prices were lowered I would give it a 2. This place sucks! That’s the food. Customer service I would give it negative stars. Don’t really like to give bad reviews but trying to save people from wasting there money.

It was great…1 dozen tacos, ½ dozen cheese and chicken enchiladas… Really tasty and reasonably priced… nice combination.

Solid Mexican food. Never had a bad meal or experience here. Chips are excellent. Chili relleno and tamales are amazing. The salsa is very very good. Not to much dining space, parking is slim but the place is definitely worth a try. Great place to order tamales for thanksgiving.

I had the crispy chicken taco– very good! And I had the sopes and it was also good. Very clean place with good service. Order At counter and they bring it to you on a plate. Comp chips and salsa! All in all I will be back. This place is good!

The food was bland. What can I say, there wasn’t any flavor in the pork burrito that I had.

LOVE this location on Pacheco Blvd and have been coming here for years. The location on Center street is closer to me but the food is not as good. The crispy tacos are TODIEFOR! Chili Colorado… Off the hook! Burritos are pretty good, tosados w/o meat are really yummy and pretty big, I love tamales and theirs are solo delicious! Their salsa are really good, but their spicy one could be hotter. The only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the nachos, they are hit and miss because on occasion the cheese has been cold. Bleh. Great food, family owned, great service and fast! This is our go-to place for Mexican food.

Great food, great prices. Their salsas and sauces are my favorite. I always get a wet BCR, simple but flavorful. I’m not a simple eater, I usually experiment, try new things, and eat rich tasting foods(lots of flavor and character). But I find myself craving their wet BCR every time. I also have had their nachos, crispy tacos, posole, tamales, and ceviche; all great items.
