We are a family owned business located in Martinez and service the entire east bay area including Walnut Creek, Orinda, Danville, Concord, Lafayette, Berkeley, Oakland, Benicia and more.

Our services includes tree pruning, trimming and shaping. Trees add value and beauty to a home, and give it shade to keep it cool. Efficient tree trimming and pruning will keep the trees attractive, healthy and balanced.



We also remove trees. There are times when a tree’s health, age or location may require it be removed in order to save other trees in the area, or protect property and safety. We offer expert advice on when and why removal may be necessary. We also have a expertly trained staff who specialize in tree removals, when removal is necessary. Our office staff can assist you with advice and help with any city permits which may be required.



We provide tree stump grinding service. Stump grinding is the most cost-​effective way to get rid of unsightly and potentially dangerous stumps.



Our services also include tree planting. Trees are a long term investment. How successfully a tree grows and flourishes depends on the type of tree and location selected for planting, the attention it gets it when it’s planted, but most importantly, the care it gets after planting. We can help with the selection process, provide the tree in the size desired, plant the tree and give advice on care after planting.



We also can assess a property for fire safety and recommend improvements.

History

Established in 1974.

Cliff West established this business when he was a young man after he returned from serving in Vietnam. He gradually built his business from the ground up, eventually hiring laborers and then office staff. Cliff employs local residents and prides himself on excellent customer service.
