Skydive Barnstable

Went skydiving for my first time here and it was awesome! Andrew and the rest of the crew were very professional, ready to answer all questions, and entertaining as hell.
On the way up (and down) the view of Cape Cod is beautiful. I suppose you could get the same view without jumping out of the plane, but where’s the fun in that?
What you’re about to do doesn’t fully sink in until the plane door opens, then there’s a moment of terror as your instructor helps you move towards the exit, then exhilaration as you drop out. Depending on the instructor they might ask if you want to do some spinning on the way down. If you’re a fan of amusement park rides you should say yes. It’s tons of fun!
If you’re visiting Cape Cod and looking for a thrill I highly recommend calling up Skydive Barnstable. Tell Andrew you were sent by a phalligator.

I had a great time and interactions with the staff here at Skydive Barnstable. I was originally supposed to jump in July, but my skydive got cancelled and I had to reschedule to August. Unfortunately, my jump was cancelled in August again and I finally jumped in September. Third time’s the charm.
My main contact for rescheduling my skydive, Andrew, was extremely helpful and friendly. He got back to me right away regarding any questions I had and made the reschedule process very smooth.
On the morning of the jump (I was scheduled for 9 am), Andrew gave us a brief training and my sister and I were up in the plane by 9:20. My instructor, Matt, was very friendly and excited. He made me feel very comfortable and I wasn’t nervous at all!
At the end, I tipped my skydive instructor $ 20 and I tipped the staff person who has to roll up the parachute $ 20. This is the recommended amount.
I would definitely recommend Skydive Barnstable as the staff are very enthusiastic and professional and the scenery is amazing.

Went skydiving the past weekend — WAS AWESOME! If only we were able to go to the Barnstable location and get the Cape Cod view but alas cuz someone important was vacationing yonder there. We jumped in the Taunton location, the view also pretty nice up there for the few minutes from the fall.

Awesome day, awesome experience, couldnt have asked for a better time! What a rush, you dont know living until you jump out of a plane. Skydive Barnstable is the place to go on Cape Cod! Marcus was very cool, made things fun and comfortable! Cant wait to go again soon ! :)

Last weekend was my first skydiving experience and I was absolutely terrified. I came with a group of friends and had planned on backing out, but the staff was excellent. Somehow, I ended up on that plane and free falling at 10,000ft in the air! It was a surreal experience. Thank you to everyone at Skydive Barnstable for helping me conquer a major fear and have a great time!

Stop thinking and just do it

When I was a kid, my extended family and I took a trip to Toronto. While the rest of my family took the long elevator to the top of the CN Tower, I can remember staying behind at the bottom with my mother because I was afraid of heights. A couple weeks ago, I jumped out of a moving plane and parachuted to the ground– something that my younger self could have never dreamed of. I’m grateful to Skydive Barnstable for helping my conquer my fears, and for making my first experience wonderful.
The divers and the owner are all very friendly and genuinely funny. They try to keep things lighthearted to cut through the inherent tension that comes before doing something like this. The plane is VERY small and can only accommodate two divers at a time. As a result, it took a while for a couple big groups in front of us to finish diving. We ended up diving over two hours after our given time. To be fair, they did warn us this might happen– just be sure to bring a books or something to entertain yourselves.
The hardest part is taking that step out of the plane onto a small ledge. But after that, it’s an incredibly exhilarating, enjoyable experience– and a chance to see beautiful Cape Cod in an entirely new light.

Amazing! The staff was all great and my Husband has a fabulous time! They were professional, courteous and knowledgable. Prices were more than fair given that they’re putting their lives at risk too every time they jump. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I took advantage of their Groupon deal and went skydiving for my birthday. Everything anyone has ever told you about sky diving is true – it’s exhilarating, adrenaline pumping, mind-​blowing, and utterly awesome. The guys at Skydive Barnstable were very friendly and funny, really care about making sure you have a good time, and the ride of your life.

My friend and I went skydiving with these guys last weekend. We’re a couple of middle-​aged thrill seekers (kind of) looking to check another item off our bucket list. Andrew (the owner) was great and Eldon, my tandem partner was very patient and made the dive amazing. They all took great care of us. Totally loved it.
