Open to the public, voted top 25 in New England. Many different greens fee options. Memberships are available for residents and non residents of all ages. Weekly leagues available to join once you become a member. Par 71 with 4 sets of tees to choose from. Full practice facility complete with a driving range, chipping area and a large putting green. History

Established in 1992.

Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds was formerly home to the Barnstable County Fair, which is what gives it its name. The course first opened in 1992 and quickly became one of the most popular in the area. Along with Hyannis, it is one of two municipal courses in the area for members to enjoy.

We play here often and love it! Conditions are great considering the volume of play it receives. The first hole is a challenging par 5, but otherwise it’s a fair track.
Beverage cart would be a BIG plus! Rounds can drag a bit and a quick snack and beverage would be awesome!
Great views and sunsets from the 19^th hole! You should check it out!

Really nice course. Conditions were excellent. However paying $ 85 for a 5hr round is not my idea of fun…
Stuck behind slow threesome, and then add a fast twosome behind is a recipe for a horrible pace. No rangers anywhere in sight to move people along, in addition the grounds crew was with us the last three holes.
Unpleasant experience here. Looks like they just pack them in here and collect the $$$

One of the best walkable courses on the Upper Cape. Course layout is challenging, staff is friendly and it is typically in good condition. Can get very crowded on the weekends.

I agree with the previous reviewers… great layout with a nice variety of holes, and good conditions. Also, a very walkable course. They have a nice practice area to boot.
Pricing is just a bit on the high side, but not out of step with other Cape Cod courses.
My only gripe would be the lack of refreshments on the course. There is no water on this course, nor a refreshment cart, so take plenty of liquids. I recall only a vending machine around the 12^th tee. This is not only bizarre for a $ 66 course, but a bit unsafe. The starter’s explanation was that, after 9/11, there was some concern that somebody might try to poison the water jugs, and they never put them back. Huh?

Just a great track.
Challenging but fair. The greens are undulating and some are several tiered but again, this course will not penalize the mildly errant shot so bad as to wreak havoc with your entire round.
