It’s not New York City pizza, of course, but this place has a pretty good square pie.

Not impressed. Their NY style pizza is nothing like real NY style pizza. Marinara was burnt and tasted weird. Spaghetti & Meatballs and Chicken Parm meals went uneaten. Don’t bother with this one.

We have been going here for years. Generally good stuff, even though typical of takeout italian and pizza. Good chicken rolls, spinach rolls etc. Decent pizza as long as you get a whole pie and dont go for slices that have been sitting around. The exception to the norm was a recent dinner at the restaurant, not taken out. A sampler platter of fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, broccoli cheese bites and chicken fingers was the standard stuff, as expected. One order of garlic knots nice and fresh, the other order obviously reheated and burnt. Cheesesteak fine, standard stuff but good. Meatball parm hero. Two small meatballs on each half of hero left about half the hero void of anything. How does that even get sent out like that? Chicken parm hero which is normally good was actually the same frozen chicken fingers that were on the sampler platter, but with cheese and sauce. Chicken finger parmesan hero? Really? Not to the owners: C’mon, you know better than that. Keep serving that stuff and your going to end up out of business.

We stopped here while visiting Bushkill Falls for the weekend. My wife and kids had a cheese pizza, while my parents and I split The Sicilian. The Sicilian was huge! It was probably the best deep dish style I’ve ever had, and the toppings were overflowing. We took home half of it for lunch the next day. My wife and kids loved their NY style pizza. Good enough food, and not too crowded for a Friday night.

Stopped in for lunch and we each had a sandwich. The chicken parm was ok but the grilled vegetable was remarkable. Filled with a variety of vegetables not usually found in a typical sandwich including lots of broccoli and spinach. Tasty and reasonable healthy.

Amazing food and services. Awesome portions, at a very reasonable price. I had the Chicken Parm with linguine, had to take it home. I look forward to lunch tomorrow ;-). When in the Pocono’s stop by this place, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Food was excellent! Especially the chicken wings! OMG! So delectable. I ordered them extra crispy with hot/BBQ sauce. They we Caramelized and sooo good! I had to get them 2 days in a row. Their cotta large pizza was good because they stretched the dough thin. Next day I got a medium, it wasn’t so good because the dough was thicker and the brunette lady with the glasses up front controlling the pizza let it cook too long! She also forgot to put dressing in our to go salad! That’s why I’m subtracting a star. Otherwise I liked the food. They also have a good selection of homemade strombolis and calzones.

My friends and I stopped by here for a quick pre-dinner snack on a Fri late afternoon. Pizzaro’s is split into two sections where one half looks like a sit-down restaurant(but isn’t) and the other, more popular half looks like a regular pizza joint. I didn’t order anything but tried a little bit of the bread and veggies off my friend’s order, which was nothing special. I’d say the main reason why they’re staying in business is the fact that they are located within walking distance to the CVS and Super Foodtown. Customers did not stop coming in during the 30 mins we were there.
