My husband and I just stayed at the Three Oaks and had an absolutely delightful time. Owners Donna and Michael are lovely — they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. When I made the reservation I let Donna know I was vegan — for breakfast they served us hemp granola with hemp milk and fruit salads. Wow! The B&B is very-​well maintained and extremely clean. The furnishings are also a wow — loads of antiques and amazing details. Lastly, the front porch is a wonderful place to spend a peaceful morning chatting with the hosts or reading. We will be back.

The Three Oaks is just a short half block walk from the Amtrak station in lovely historic Marshall, TX. It has been lovingly restored to Victorian splendor by its owners who clearly work relentlessly dusting and fixing up this local treasure to make it dollhouse perfect. I had a very nice stay in a beautifully furnished room complete with free wifi, tv and plenty of light. I found this to be an excellent value and extremely convenient as I was here for a business trip and it was an easy walk to the courthouse and all the Harrison County administrative buildings. It is also a nice place to just set on the porch and watch the world go by.
